SEOUL, June 11, 2024 – Hyundai Motor Company has officially revealed the first teaser images of its forthcoming A-segment sub-compact electric vehicle, the INSTER.
Derived from the words “intimate” and “innovative,” the name INSTER signifies Hyundai’s commitment to combining cutting-edge technology with a personal touch. This new model represents an evolution from the CASPER, a petrol-powered vehicle that was exclusive to the Korean market since its launch in 2021.
The initial images provide a glimpse into INSTER’s design, showcasing its robust yet compact SUV profile. Notable features include signature LED daytime running lights, along with pixel-graphic turn signals and tail lamps that highlight Hyundai’s distinctive EV design language.
Hyundai has also revealed that the INSTER will boast a maximum range of 355 km (WLTP) on a single charge, setting new benchmarks for driving range, technology, and safety features within its class.
The INSTER is set to make its official debut at the Busan International Mobility Show later this month, where it will undoubtedly attract significant attention and anticipation.
