SEOUL, June 12, 2025 – Hyundai Motor Company has pulled the covers—if only slightly—off its next electrifying flagship: the all-new IONIQ 6 N. Unveiled through a series of tantalising teaser images, the high-performance electric sedan is poised to build on the legacy of its trailblazing sibling, the IONIQ 5 N, while setting a new benchmark for EV performance in the form of a sleek, aerodynamically honed streamliner.
A bold evolution of Hyundai’s electrification vision, the IONIQ 6 N combines cutting-edge design with purpose-driven engineering. The silhouette speaks volumes—long, low, and sculpted for speed, it wears its performance potential with pride. Flared fenders, lightweight performance wheels, a wider stance, and a commanding wing spoiler all hint at a car that’s been shaped by the wind—and sharpened on the track.
Developed under the philosophy of N’s three core performance pillars—Corner Rascal, Racetrack Capability, and Everyday Sports Car—the IONIQ 6 N is designed to deliver thrills on demand, whether carving through mountain passes, tearing up circuits, or tackling the morning commute with style and agility.

“IONIQ 6 N will once again disrupt the high-performance EV segment to deliver exciting driving experiences to our fans,” said Joon Park, Vice President and Head of N Management Group. “We chose to debut the IONIQ 6 N at Goodwood Festival of Speed to be as close to our fans as possible.”
The teaser confirms Hyundai’s relentless focus on high-speed stability and driver engagement, supported by intensive aerodynamic development. The IONIQ 6 N’s sleek proportions and performance-oriented hardware suggest a car built not just to perform—but to involve the driver in every sense.
Its predecessor, the IONIQ 5 N, earned widespread acclaim for redefining what an electric hot hatch could be—amassing accolades, motorsport victories, and the kind of respect typically reserved for established performance marques. Now, with the IONIQ 6 N, Hyundai seeks to stretch the capabilities of electric performance even further, turning its attention to the sedan format and tapping into the DNA of a new icon in the making.
As the automotive world turns its attention to the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where the IONIQ 6 N will make its global debut, anticipation is building. More than just a teaser, these early glimpses offer a promise: that electrification and excitement need not be mutually exclusive.
With the IONIQ 6 N, Hyundai is once again redefining what it means to drive electric—one corner at a time.
