Commercial Fuel Solutions Presents Cutting-Edge Low Carbon Technologies at the Road Transport Expo

Southampton, 04.06.24: Commercial Fuel Solutions Limited, a leader in the design, development, and distribution of AdBlue and fuel storage and transfer systems, will unveil a suite of low carbon solutions aimed at helping fleets transition to a Net Zero future at the Road Transport Expo. The company will display the UK’s first hydrogen internal combustion engine power generator, along with advanced AdBlue and HVO/GTL ready storage tanks, which can be tailored with bespoke diesel and AdBlue dispensing solutions to minimize supply chain emissions.

Robin Futcher, Founder and CEO of Commercial Fuel Solutions, stated, “We have thousands of customers in the road transport sector and understand the immense pressure to reduce their fleets’ carbon footprint. We’re here to assist them. Our innovative technologies support fleets at every stage—from AdBlue delivery to robust fuel management systems and tanks compatible with HVO/GTL. Additionally, our hydrogen generators provide low carbon energy off the grid, whenever and wherever it’s needed.”

Futcher continued, “We’re not just about hardware and products. Our new facility, H1, features a state-of-the-art classroom designed to offer training and support for our customers. We’ll equip them with the knowledge necessary to navigate the transition to net zero, providing upskilling programs, comprehensive tutorials in carbon literacy, in-depth product training, and insightful breakdowns of evolving regulations around gaseous fuelling, including new safety standards.”

At the Road Transport Expo, Commercial Fuel Solutions will highlight several technologies:

Fuel Management System: This cost-effective and intuitive system is essential for reducing fuel theft, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring effective fuel efficiency, which helps keep operational costs down. Given the rising diesel prices, safeguarding fuel stock against misuse and theft is crucial, whether for a small local fleet or a large national one. Accurate fuel stock management is fundamental for cost-effective operations. The system not only protects fuel from unauthorized access but also logs each operator’s usage, enabling fleet efficiency monitoring. Commercial Fuel Solutions offers national on-site installation and factory fit options with many tank manufacturers.

Hydrogen Power And Advanced Fuel Systems Highlights From Commercial Fuel Solutions

AdBlue Delivery System: AdBlue is as critical as diesel for the smooth operation of many fleets. Running out can halt business operations. Commercial Fuel Solutions offers a unique deposit-free system where customers purchase an IBC they own for life, only paying for the product used. Their fleet of trucks, operating across the UK, ensures customers’ IBCs are refueled with high-quality AdBlue from Yara, guaranteeing seamless operation and zero downtime.

Hydrogen Internal Combustion Power Generator: Commercial Fuel Solutions is proud to introduce the UK’s first commercially available hydrogen internal combustion power generator. As the exclusive UK distributor for Belgian generator specialists e-power, the company offers the 45 kVA Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engine (H2ICE) Electrical Power Generator for purchase and hire. The e-power® E45 hydrogen power generator is a groundbreaking product that sets new benchmarks for clean, efficient, and cost-effective energy generation. Utilizing a hydrogen combustion engine, this generator is more robust than traditional fuel cell technology, capable of using any hydrogen grade, providing a resilient solution for diverse power requirements at a fraction of the usual capital expenditure (CAPEX).

Meet the Commercial Fuel Solutions team at the Road Transport Expo to explore these innovative technologies and more.
