Holden has announced model and nutritionist, Alex Davis will make her first public appearance as the ambassador for the stylish new Holden Cascada convertible, walking the catwalk for the Holden ‘Let Spring In’ runway show at the upcoming Runway Weekend in Sydney.

Australian born, Alex has made numerous television appearances, presenting sport on Channel 7 and the TODAY show, however much like Cascada, Alex is not just a pretty face. In addition to modelling and television work, Alex also boasts a Bachelor of Food and Nutrition degree from Deakin University and runs the health and wellness site, Simple Sensible Nutrition.

Based in Melbourne, Alex and fiancé, Collingwood FC captain, Scott Pendlebury enjoy being active and exploring the local area on road trips and is looking forward to stepping onto the runway in Sydney.

“We love hiking and swimming down the Great Ocean Road and driving the Cascada down there will be great fun, we just need the Melbourne weather to be kind.”

“Cascada is a stunning looking car and driving with the roof down gives you an amazing sense of freedom. Add in a luxurious interior with plenty of space and you get the feeling this is something special.

“The concept of linking a runway show to Cascada’s features is both innovative and exciting, and I’m looking forward to seeing what the designers come up with.”

The runway show is part of Holden Cascada’s Let Life In campaign and will exhibit the flexibility of fashion featuring items inspired by the car such as contemporary jewellery; linking to the cars exterior chrome features, leather clothing; pointing to the cars leather appointed seats, and an array of hats; as stylish and practical as Cascada’s electric folding roof.

When at home, Alex is driving the European designed and manufactured Holden Cascada in Summit White. The full-sized convertible combines a stylish exterior design with a premium interior including heated leather appointed seats, heated steering wheel and Holden’s MyLink infotainment system.

Holden’s Executive Director – Marketing, Geraldine Davys said that Alex Davis is a perfect fit for the Holden brand and Cascada in particular.

“Alex is stylish, smart and attractive, three characteristics that could also easily be used to describe Cascada, thanks to its sleek European design and luxurious interior.” Ms. Davys said.

“Alex is the perfect ambassador for Cascada. Her active lifestyle perfectly represents what this car is all about, and I’m particularly looking forward to seeing her looking fabulous walking the Holden runway.”

The European sourced Cascada is part of the first wave of exciting new Holden products to be introduced in Australia, culminating in 24 new vehicles over the next five years.
