Sealy, Texas (April 16, 2025) – In the relentless pursuit of performance, Hennessey Special Vehicles has unveiled its most formidable creation yet: the Venom F5 Evolution. This next-generation hypercar represents the culmination of three years of global customer feedback and obsessive engineering development. The result? A road-going rocket that rewrites the definition of internal combustion excellence, delivering a staggering 2031 bhp, advanced aerodynamics, and a chassis that’s as comfortable touring the open road as it is tearing up a track.

At the heart of the Evolution is a dramatic leap in capability. Hennessey’s original 6.6-litre twin-turbo V8, code-named ‘Fury’, has been thoroughly re-engineered in partnership with Ilmor Engineering, famed for its race-proven powertrain expertise. The result is the world’s most powerful internal combustion engine ever fitted to a road car. Producing 2031 bhp at 8000 rpm and 1445 lb-ft of torque at 5200 rpm, it propels the F5 Evolution from 0 to 200 mph in a blistering 10.3 seconds – all while running on eco-conscious Shell E85 pump fuel.

“Some of our owners requested even more power,” said John Hennessey, company founder and CEO. “That challenge drove us to create the F5 Evolution – the most powerful combustion hypercar the world has ever seen.”

Engineering Fury into Evolution

Key to unlocking this new level of performance is a comprehensive overhaul of the powertrain. Ilmor’s involvement ushered in next-gen 76/80 turbochargers, oval-shaped billet aluminum pistons, titanium exhaust valves, and lightweight valve covers. Extreme-duty billet connecting rods and larger high-flow injectors round out the upgrades, ensuring that the F5 Evolution isn’t just fast – it’s built to endure.

This partnership between American muscle and motorsport engineering gives the F5 Evolution a dual nature: unrelenting in speed, yet refined in delivery, ready for both endurance racing and spirited street driving.

Suspension and Handling: Precision at Any Speed

The new adaptive suspension system redefines what a 2000+ horsepower car should feel like. A steering-wheel-mounted toggle allows drivers to effortlessly switch between five tailored driving modes: Sport, Road Race, Drag, Wet, and the all-out F5 Mode.

On the road, it delivers plush composure over broken tarmac. On the track, it sharpens its responses, allowing drivers to hit apexes with clinical precision, lean harder into corners, and ride curbs with greater confidence. Each mode adjusts ride height, damping, roll resistance, and steering feedback, giving the Evolution a split personality worthy of its name.

Aerodynamics: Tested by Air, Proven by Speed

Aerodynamic development was spearheaded by legendary motorsport aerodynamicist Dr. Mark Handford, leveraging extensive track, road, and wind tunnel testing. The front splitter has been entirely reworked, while new dive planes, tire wake deflectors, and wheel arch louvres sculpt airflow with surgical precision. A revised rear Gurney lip spoiler enhances high-speed stability under heavy braking or full-throttle acceleration.

Together with the revised suspension, these aero enhancements allow the F5 Evolution to remain planted at extreme speeds, creating a hypercar that’s more confident and capable than ever before.

Grand Touring Meets Grand Performance

Hennessey’s customer-centric approach extends into the cabin with new Touring options designed for long-distance comfort. While performance remains paramount, many F5 owners expressed a desire to experience their hypercar on longer journeys. In response, Hennessey has developed Touring Carbon Seats with additional bolstering and leather wrapping, laser-cut in a distinctive ‘blast-off’ pattern that echoes the car’s aerospace-inspired interior.

Even a carbon-fibre drinks holder is available – a small, yet telling touch that exemplifies the Evolution’s broader brief: to marry unrelenting speed with real-world usability.

Exclusivity and Availability

The Evolution package, which includes all powertrain, suspension, and aerodynamic upgrades, is available for both new and existing Venom F5 owners across the Coupe, Roadster, and Revolution variants. The cost? $285,000, excluding the Touring upgrades which are offered as additional extras.

For a machine this rare and this powerful, the price is secondary to the experience. The Hennessey Venom F5 Evolution isn’t just a hypercar – it’s a combustion-powered swansong, engineered to outpace time itself.
