A brand new SEAT Mii is now available for just £79 per month*, with free insurance for an entire year. It’s subject to a deposit (that’s the main reason the little star is there), but it still means that a brand new and very excellent car can be yours for less than a posh gym membership.
And the Mii in question isn’t a bargain basement special either – it’s a three-door Mii Toca, which is based on generous SE specification but adds rear parking sensors and the SEAT Portable System. They’re in addition to 14-inch alloy wheels, front electric windows, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob.
The £79 offer makes the monthly payment for the car and insurance during the first year less than many drivers pay for their insurance premium alone – particularly younger drivers.**
The Mii Toca is powered by a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine with 60 PS and 95 Nm, offering great low-speed flexibility and awesome fuel economy – it returns 62.8 mpg and 105 g/km, which means its first-year Road Fund Licence (RFL) is free, and just £20 thereafter.
Standard equipment includes body-coloured, heated and electrically adjustable door mirrors, alloy wheels, chrome dial and switch surrounds, a gloss white dashboard fascia, split-folding rear seats and air conditioning.
And thanks to the addition of rear parking sensors, not backing into a wall or another road user has never been easier.
The SEAT Portable System usually costs £275 but is included with Toca specification. The removable device uses a five-inch colour touch screen and features satellite navigation as well as controlling the radio and other media. It can also act as a trip computer, and it controls the Bluetooth telephone functionality.
The first year free insurance offer included with the £79 deal is a real sweetener, but every Mii driver enjoys very low insurance premiums anyway – every Mii falls into either group 1E or 2E, with the Toca edition in the former. These scooter-like ratings are assigned to the Mii because of its five-star Euro NCAP safety rating, comprehensive security features and low repair costs, among other factors.

£79 per month offer applies to a 42-month personal contract hire agreement with a £2,630 advanced payment, and assuming a maximum of 5,000 miles per annum. Excess mileage is charged at 4.4 pence per mile, payable at the end of the agreed lease period.
