The highly anticipated Hagerty Hill Climb is set to make a spectacular return to the historic Shelsley Walsh on Sunday, 17th May 2025. This unique event promises exhilarating motorsport action, an incredible gathering of classic and performance cars, and a fantastic day out for enthusiasts and families alike.

A Historic Venue Steeped in Motorsport Tradition

Nestled in the picturesque Worcestershire countryside, Shelsley Walsh holds the distinction of being the world’s oldest motorsport venue still using its original course. First established in 1905, the 914m-long hill climb is one of the steepest in the sport, ascending over 100m through scenic woodland. Over the decades, the venue has welcomed legendary drivers such as Jean Bugatti, Hans Stuck, and Sir Stirling Moss, making it an iconic destination for motorsport lovers.

An Unforgettable Driving Experience

The 2025 Hagerty Hill Climb offers an incredible opportunity for drivers to experience the thrill of Shelsley Walsh in a relaxed, non-competitive setting. Open to all types of vehicles and drivers of all experience levels, the event ensures at least three guaranteed runs up the hill for each participant. Whether pushing the limits or enjoying a leisurely ascent, every driver is in for an unforgettable experience.

Entry for the event is priced at £150, but members of the Hagerty Drivers Club (HDC) benefit from an exclusive 25% discount. HDC members will also enjoy access to a dedicated enclosure, providing a comfortable space to unwind with refreshments and connect with fellow enthusiasts.

Spectator Fun and Early Bird Discounts

For those looking to witness the action, spectator tickets are priced at just £30 per car, offering superb value for an incredible day out. Visitors can explore the paddock, admire stunning vehicle displays from private owners and classic car clubs, and enjoy a wide range of food and drink options. A walk up the course not only provides prime viewing spots but also reveals breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

Early bird discounts are available from 14th to 28th February, reducing spectator tickets to £25 per car and hill climb entry to just £135.

A Celebration of Automotive Passion

“The Hagerty Hill Climb at Shelsley Walsh is one of our favourite events of the year,” says Mark Roper, Managing Director of Hagerty International. “It presents a wonderful opportunity for owners to enjoy their cars in a safe environment and to interact with enthusiasts young and old throughout the day. Like the Hagerty Festival of the Unexceptional, the Hagerty Hill Climb is all about the memories and experiences we associate with classic cars, and what better place to enjoy them than at this historic venue.”
