The iconic Hagerty Hill Climb returns to the historic Shelsley Walsh on Saturday 9th May 2026, promising a spectacular day out for motorsport fans and enthusiasts alike. This celebrated hill climb offers a rare chance for drivers to take their own cars up one of the world’s most famous motorsport venues, while spectators enjoy unparalleled access and thrilling action.

Competitor line-ups already confirmed are set to dazzle, featuring legendary cars such as the Ford GT40, Porsche 911 Carrera, Saab Sonett V4, and Vauxhall Firenza. Rally fans are in for a treat with Ralli 22 bringing back favourites including a Roger Clark tribute Ford Escort RS1600 Mk1, a Group A Renault 5 GT Turbo, a classic Mini Cooper S built by Paddy Hopkirk, a WRC Ford Focus once driven by Colin McRae, and even a turbocharged Perodua Kancil 4x4. The sound, spectacle, and sheer excitement of these cars powering up Shelsley Walsh promises to make 2026 a standout year for the hill climb.

Spectators benefit from exceptional value, with tickets starting from just £30 per car, giving access to the full circuit and all its viewing points. Whether you want to watch cars launch off the line or explore the course on foot for a personal vantage, the experience is as exhilarating as being behind the wheel. Full paddock access allows fans to meet drivers, snap photos, and get up close to the incredible cars taking part, creating a motorsport experience without barriers.

For those seeking a deeper thrill, the Run What You Brung ticket offers three runs up the hill for just £150. No previous competition experience is required, and all cars are welcome—from classic cars and hot hatches to everyday drivers. This is a unique chance to enjoy driving in a safe, relaxed environment on a world-famous course, bringing the Hagerty ethos of celebrating and enjoying cars to life.

Hagerty UK Managing Director Mark Roper emphasises the event’s inclusive spirit: “With our roads filled with potholes and traffic, we hope our Hill Climb guests enjoy the opportunity to drive in a safe, relaxed and welcoming environment. I am looking forward to meeting them on the day.”

Additional perks include free camping on Friday 8th May, a bar on-site, and discounts for Hagerty Drivers Club members. With food stalls, displays, and activities for all ages, the Hagerty Hill Climb is more than just a motorsport event—it’s a full day of excitement for the whole family. Tickets for the 2026 event are available now, alongside information on the Drivers Club and media accreditation.
