A new and eye-catching display of Kia’s latest electric SUV, the EV9, has been unveiled on the top floor of GWR Kia, one of the UK’s largest and most strategically located dealerships. Situated along the bustling M4 in Brentford, West London, the dealership is operated by Norton Way Group and boasts a four-storey structure with a glass façade that offers unmissable views from the motorway.
The showroom transformation features a prominent exhibition of the Kia EV9, displayed in an attractive Pacific Blue finish. This renovation, executed overnight, includes the EV9’s notable vertical LED headlamps as part of its design elements. The display is set to catch the eyes of hundreds of thousands of travelers passing by daily.
Paul Philpott, President & CEO of Kia UK, expressed enthusiasm about the location: “The exceptional visibility of our GWR Kia dealership along the M4 presents a perfect stage for introducing our standout models. This installation not only highlights the EV9’s impressive design and electric capabilities but also symbolizes our shared confidence in our electric vehicles, celebrated by both our dealers and customers.”

Since its opening in August 2016, GWR Kia has grown to be one of the busiest in the nation, handling nearly 3,000 new Kia vehicles in 2023 alone. The dealership not only showcases the full range of Kia models, including EVs, hybrids, and plug-in hybrids but also features a café and an extensive workshop.
In line with sustainable practices, GWR Kia incorporates several eco-friendly technologies such as air source heat pumps, solar panels, water harvesting systems, and energy-efficient lighting. These initiatives are part of a broader effort to minimize the environmental impact of the dealership.
The dealership is also part of a larger initiative by Kia UK, which introduced a new global branding strategy in 2021. Approximately 190 dealerships are transitioning to this ‘Global Store Concept,’ with many already sporting the new brand identity.
The Kia EV9 itself has garnered significant attention, being named the UK Car of the Year and World Car of the Year for 2024. It offers versatility with different seating and drivetrain options, extensive trim levels, and an impressive electric range of up to 349 miles. Priced from £65,025, the EV9 includes a robust warranty and ultra-fast charging capabilities, adding to its appeal as a leading choice in the electric vehicle market.
