05/10/2023: GWM ORA is pleased to announce the appointment of David Chesterman as its new Head of Sales for the UK market. Chesterman has a wealth of automotive experience, having previously worked for Volvo Car UK for circa 20 years across various commercial and operational functions.
In his last role, Chesterman was the National Fleet Operations Lead where he managed SME fleet sales growth,
e-commerce & CRM development, direct fleet sales as well as developing business, marketing and communications strategy across various key partnerships.
Chesterman had previously run the brands Used Car Operations and set-up the first OEM direct to consumer platform
for used cars. In addition, Chesterman managed key sales and business functions and worked in Regional Sales Development, Corporate Sales and Retailer Finance roles.

Chesterman takes over the Head of Sales role from David Parry who is now moving into semi-retirement and working a part time support role as General Manager. Parry formerly worked for Mitsubishi Motors in the UK for over 20 years in various different commercial roles and joined GWM ORA UK in February 2022.
