Goodwood is excited to announce that the 81st Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport will host a competitive on-track battle with an impressive collection of sidecars going head-to-head in a Shoot-Out.
Taking to the Goodwood Motor Circuit for the very first time, up to eight modern racing sidecars will assemble for an exhilarating on-track contest. Keeping spectators on the edge of their seats, the competition will showcase a combination of high speeds, tight turns, and the necessity for precise teamwork between driver and passenger, with the Shoot-Out also marking the first-time contemporary vehicles have competitively taken to the Motor Circuit for a public event since 1966.
Spectators can expect to see a variety of sessions taking place across the weekend, from qualifying and head-to-head battles, to the top four drivers taking on the first-ever sidecar Shoot-Out.

Goodwood is delighted to be working alongside eight-time Superside FIM World Sidecar Champion Tim Reeves on bringing together an impressive collection of sidecars from across the racing disciplines. A prominent figure in British sidecar racing, Reeves is renowned for co-piloting alongside Patrick Farrance, Ashley Hawes and younger brother Tristan Reeves. The sidecar showdown will welcome some of the most iconic drivers and passengers including 14-time TT winner and three-time FIM World Champion Ben Birchall and two-time FIM World Champions Emmanuel Clement and Todd Ellis.
Tim Reeves, eight-time Superside FIM World Sidecar Champion, said: “It’s been a pleasure to work alongside the Goodwood Content Team on bringing such a spectacular collection of sidecars. With incredible speed, high adrenaline and nail-biting cornering, Sunday’s Sidecar Shoot-Out will definitely bring something new to the Goodwood Members’ Meeting.”
The competition will take place across the weekend – with the Shoot-Out taking place on Sunday – and joins the previously announced Canadian-American Cup demonstration and full race schedule for the 81st Members’ Meeting.
