From 15 to 17 August, the pristine wilderness of B’Sorah Farm near Hartbeespoort Dam will once again transform into a hub of outdoor excitement, where nature lovers, weekend warriors, and adrenaline junkies come together for a truly immersive lifestyle experience.
Now in its second year, the Expo is hosted by the passionate adventurers behind LR Classic, and it’s fast becoming one of the country’s standout family-friendly outdoor lifestyle events. With its unique combination of hands-on experiences, curated exhibits, and a spectacular setting in the heart of the Magaliesberg Mountains, this is a weekend built for exploration – and a little rugby, of course.

Spread across three thoughtfully designed exhibition areas, the Expo makes it easy to navigate and compare the latest in outdoor gear and innovation:
- Off-Road Living: From entry-level trailers to top-tier off-road caravans, the dedicated caravan zone offers side-by-side comparisons to help you find your perfect mobile escape pod.
- 4×4 Central: Next door, visitors can explore the newest 4×4 vehicles, suspension upgrades, and overlanding accessories – all in one place. Don’t miss the 4×4 demonstration track, where exhibitors put their vehicles through their paces, towing off-road trailers and showcasing performance under pressure.
- Outdoor Gear Galore: From tactical hiking boots to high-tech GPS devices, specialised outdoor apparel, e-bikes, braais, tents, and more, the general exhibition area at the entrance is your gateway to outdoor living essentials.
More Than Just a Show – It’s an Experience
This isn’t your average trade show. At B’Sorah, you do as much as you see.
- Hike or Ride the stunning trails across the valley, with easy family-friendly walks and more demanding routes for the fit and fearless. Mountain bikers and e-bike enthusiasts are invited to bring their bikes or test-ride the latest models on offer.
- 4×4 Obstacle Course: Book a slot in the thrilling self-drive obstacle course, marshalled by the Off-Road Marshalling Unit of SA. Whether you’re driving or spectating, it’s edge-of-your-seat entertainment.
- Guided Drive-Outs: Hop into your SUV or 4×4 for a guided scenic adventure – suitable for beginners and great for brushing up on trail skills.
Family, Food & Festivities
The Outdoor & Adventure Expo is proudly family-first. Kids can bounce around on jumping castles, get their faces painted, and enjoy safe, engaging activities throughout the day. Four-legged friends are welcome too – just bring a leash.
When hunger hits, head for the food court where food trucks and coffee carts serve everything from artisan burgers to gourmet coffee and craft beer. Settle under shady trees with your meal, or grab a seat in the beer garden, where the atmosphere is as refreshing as the drinks.
Sports Fans, Rejoice
Rugby and UFC fans are in for a treat. Saturday’s festivities roll straight into the Springboks vs Wallabies Test match, screened live in the beer tent from 16:30. Don your green and gold and join fellow fans for an evening of spirited support. On Sunday around 10:00, return for the high-octane UFC bout between South Africa’s own Dricus du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev.

Nature and photography go hand in hand, and B’Sorah provides the perfect canvas. Amateur and professional photographers alike are encouraged to bring their gear and capture the spectacular landscapes and authentic moments that make the Expo a photographer’s dream.

Camping is strictly pre-booked online and includes access to basic amenities like hot showers, water points, mobile VIP toilets, and a central boma (no ground fires allowed).
