The Ford Territory ST builds on the many fine attributes inherent in the original Territory but offers mouth watering performance levels in a sophisticated package.

Propelled by a powerful 4.0-litre turbocharged powertrain, the Territory ST produces a maximum power output of 245kW available at 5 250rpm and reaches a torque peak of 480Nm at 2 000rpm. This translates into impressive off-the-line performance feel, better drivability and towing capability even at Gauteng altitudes.

The ST model features Territory’s Acutrac Plus handling system, which consists of the Virtual Pivot Control Link front suspension, award-winning Control Blade IRS and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC).

The exceptional performance of the Territory ST is accentuated in the exterior styling. A bonnet scoop, dual exhaust outlets and unique five spoke 18” alloys play their role in differentiating the turbocharged variant. An exciting range of metallic paint options add further colour choices to the Territory range.

The sporty dynamic is a theme carried through to the cabin of the Territory ST. The interior features a warm charcoal environment with eucalyptus contrast, which flows through to the warm charcoal leather seat trim featuring silver stitching and a six-way power driver seat.

In keeping with the virtues established by the original Territory, the ST range continues to provide an exceptionally innovative interior boasting more than 30 storage compartments including a lockable compartment under the driver’s seat and a removable, dishwasher safe rubbish bin.

The 60/40 split fold down second row seat further extends its versatile load carrying ability. The Territory ST offers flexible seating arrangements, including the renowned Territory attribute of being able to transport as many as seven people with its standard third row of seats.

The Territory range has always placed great importance on advanced safety features, which include the introduction of a reverse camera on the Ghia derivatives giving customers’ enhanced driving convenience. This feature is standard on the Territory ST as are other vital safety features.

“Safety is a major cornerstone of the Territory range, and an attribute that we pride ourselves on. With the combination of an excellent safety structure, collapsible brake pedal and steering column, side curtain airbags and active safety features such as Dynamic Stability Control, the new Territory ST looks to build on what is already a firm family favourite,” explains Jacques Brent, Marketing and Sales Vice President, Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa.

A five-year / 90 000km Service Plan is standard with all models as is a three-year / unlimited kilometre Ford Protect Roadside Assistance Plan. The warranty is applicable for three-years / 100 000km, whichever occurs first, while the corrosion warranty is in place for five years / unlimited kilometres.
