After launching PartsPlus in the United Kingdom in 2018, Ford is about to roll out a network of PartsPlus Centres in Italy, changing the way that Italian Garages, Bodyshops, Parts Dealers and Fleets source Genuine Parts. With the opening of 24 Centres throughout Italy, PartsPlus aims to offer its Italian customers a new concept in Parts service, purchase and delivery.

With nationwide promotions and pricing, Genuine Parts, technical assistance always on hand and daily delivery, PartsPlus has set itself the goal of changing the way Parts are supplied and distributed in the Italian aftermarket. PartsPlus customers will also have access to a comprehensive range of Parts for non-Ford vehicles thanks to its stock of Omnicraft products.

PartsPlus will offer a new sales, assistance and delivery service for its products, supplying not only Genuine Ford Parts, but also Oils and Consumables for all makes and types of vehicles.

Alessio Franco, PartsPlus Director in Italy, said: “In the United Kingdom, PartsPlus is already up and running and is going from strength to strength with 60 Centres providing an excellent service to its customers. The tried-and-tested PartsPlus model offers services to industry players, such as express Parts delivery and access to a wide range of Ford and non-Ford products, through a single point of contact. We’re really excited about introducing this winning formula to Italian Garages and Bodyshops, supporting them through this transition which will inevitably result in greater customer loyalty”.

“The network of independent Garages in Italy is being given a golden opportunity for growth, based on trust, quality and customer service. Our new PartsPlus network offers an integrated solution to the aftersales sector and to those who want to see their business grow”.
The use of new technologies by PartsPlus, such as mobile scanners, has drastically improved process efficiency and, therefore, the satisfaction of customers at Garages and Bodyshops in the United Kingdom. In Italy, PartsPlus Centres will also embrace this technology, promoting nationwide offers and improving transparency and trust within the network.

Linking customers to the nearest PartsPlus Centre in their area will ensure better allocation of resources within the network and optimise processes as well as delivery times.

Operating as an entirely new business, the PartsPlus Italia brand is owned by Ford Italia S.p.A. with a network of agents employing over 300 people.
