With just over two weeks remaining, eBay is issuing a final call for entries to its Van Conversion of the Year Awards 2025, celebrating the UK’s most imaginative and skillfully executed van builds. First launched in 2023, the awards have quickly become a hallmark of creativity within the vanlife and trades communities—shining a light on those who transform humble vans into dream homes, mobile businesses, or ingenious workspace solutions.
This year’s overall winner will receive £10,000, while winners of individual categories will each be awarded £250 in eBay vouchers. Entries remain open until Sunday, 26 October, giving van enthusiasts, tradespeople, and weekend tinkerers a final chance to showcase their projects by submitting photos and videos of their bespoke builds.
A New Face Joins the Judging Panel
Adding a fresh perspective to this year’s judging lineup is Josie Rose, winner of the 2024 ‘Most Creative’ category. Josie captivated last year’s panel with her stunning renovation of a Mercedes Vario minibus, transformed over three years into a bohemian-inspired home on wheels. Her van’s handcrafted details, warm furnishings, and artistic flair earned high praise for their originality and charm.
Now returning as a judge, Josie will join an expert panel featuring TV architect George Clarke, Abir Tewari, eBay’s UK Director of Commercial Operations for Parts & Accessories, and Mark Cropley, better known as The Van Conversion Expert and founder of Whitebox Vans and Wildbox Adventure Vehicles.
Reflecting on her new role, Josie said:
“Having spent so much time and energy on my own DIY van conversion, I know what a labour of love these builds can be. I’m really looking forward to seeing this year’s entries—whether they come from fellow vanlifers whose dedication I admire, or from tradespeople with their flawless finishing touches. I’m sure it’ll be a delightful display of cleverness and creativity!”

How to Enter
The Van Conversion of the Year Awards are open to all, whether the van serves as a cosy camper, an expertly outfitted work vehicle, or something entirely unique. Entries close at 23:59 on Sunday, 26 October, with the winners announced in November 2025.
