The 8th edition of the Festival of Motoring (FOM), powered by WesBank, has drawn to a close at the legendary Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, marking a milestone year for Africa’s premier motoring showcase. With 32,441 visitors, 107 exhibitors, and more than 10,000 track experiences, the 2025 Festival set new attendance records and reaffirmed its status as the ultimate gathering for automotive enthusiasts, families, and industry leaders.
More than just an event, this year’s Festival was a collective triumph. Exhibitors, partners, and organisers came together with a shared vision, creating an immersive experience that not only highlighted the strength of the automotive sector but also embodied the spirit of Ubuntu — “I am because we are.”
Festival Highlights
Four dynamic zones brought the Festival to life, offering something for every visitor:
- Green & Yellow Zone – The Festival’s epicenter, where 23 automotive brands delivered exhilarating track drives on the Kyalami circuit.
- Main Circuit Content – Motorsport thrills including Formula 1 demo laps, the SunBet ZX10 Masters Cup (Superbikes), the Vilaca Time Attack, and the Shelby Speed Challenge.
- Red Zone – A vibrant exhibitor showcase complemented by diverse food experiences.
- Yellow Zone – The Santam Adventure Zone, featuring go-karting, drifting, a chill pod, the Takealot self-handling track, and high-energy motorsport action.
- Blue Zone – A rugged 4×4 playground where visitors tested vehicles in demanding off-road conditions.
From adrenaline-pumping motorsport to lifestyle activations and retail showcases, the Festival became a platform where passion met innovation.

With attendees traveling from 19 countries and more than 272 towns and cities, the Festival continues to expand its global reach as a central meeting point for Africa’s motoring community.
The Festival of Motoring will return to the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit from 28–30 August 2026, promising another unforgettable celebration of innovation, lifestyle, and automotive excellence.
