Modena / Geneva, 27 October 2025 – Ferrari Classiche and the Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens (FIVA) have taken a landmark step in historic vehicle authentication. From now on, all Ferrari Classiche Certificates will include a FIVA ID Card, further solidifying the Italian marque’s commitment to preserving automotive heritage.

Announced on 23 October, this collaboration marks a unique convergence of expertise and shared values. By combining Ferrari Classiche’s deep technical knowledge with FIVA’s globally recognized framework for historic vehicle documentation, the initiative reinforces authenticity and traceability for collectors and enthusiasts alike.

“The agreement between Ferrari Classiche and FIVA reflects a shared dedication to heritage in its most complete form: identification and authentication,” said a spokesperson from Ferrari Classiche. “It’s about more than just documentation—it’s a commitment to safeguarding history for future generations.”

The FIVA ID Card, recognized worldwide as a standard for historic vehicle verification, now accompanies every Ferrari Classiche Certificate. This dual certification offers added assurance not only to vehicle owners and prospective buyers but also to event organizers, ensuring that cars presented at historic rallies, shows, and auctions meet the highest standards of authenticity.

A tangible demonstration of this collaboration was unveiled at the recent Auto e Moto d’Epoca in Padua. Ferrari provided a 1959 Ferrari 250 GT, the first vehicle to benefit from this dual recognition, proudly displaying both its Ferrari Classiche Certificate and the new FIVA ID Card. The gesture underscores the shared commitment to celebrating, preserving, and protecting automotive heritage on a global scale.

As Ferrari continues to champion its historic models, this collaboration with FIVA represents a new benchmark in the authentication and documentation of collector vehicles, offering reassurance and confidence to enthusiasts and institutions worldwide.
