London, 24 July 2025 – Farizon, the commercial vehicle brand of automotive giant Geely, has been announced as the Official Logistics Partner for this year’s GREENFLEET Explorer EV Rally. Taking place from 1–5 September 2025, the 900-mile rally across the UK will put electric vehicle (EV) capability, infrastructure, and innovation to the test—and Farizon is set to play a leading role both behind the scenes and on the road.
As part of its commitment to the event, Farizon will supply a fleet of fully electric SV vans to support the rally’s logistics, transporting crew and equipment from one location to the next. In addition, Team Farizon—a group of employees from Jameel Motors UK and special guests—will compete in the rally itself using four SV vans in multiple configurations, underscoring the vehicle’s versatility in real-world conditions.
“Businesses and fleets today expect more from their electric vans—more practicality, more range, more features, and with lower costs,” said Kate McLaren, Head of Marketing and Sales Operations for Farizon at Jameel Motors UK. “With this year’s rally expected to take in over 900 real-world miles, we look forward to demonstrating to participants why the SV is the ideal partner for fleets and businesses.”
The 2025 Explorer EV Rally kicks off in Newquay and culminates in Chester, weaving its way through more than 900 miles of diverse terrain. Along the route, teams will visit a number of key clean energy and innovation sites, including a stop at the CENEX Expo at UTAC Millbrook on 3 September. The rally, now a key fixture on the EV calendar, is designed to showcase the accelerating capabilities of electric vehicles in fleet settings—a sector already accounting for over 60% of EV sales in the UK.

Colin Boyton, Events Manager for the Explorer EV Rally, commented:
“The entire team are delighted to welcome Farizon as a key partner for this year’s rally. The SV support vans will undoubtedly prove to be essential logistical tools during the event, with their all-electric range and carrying capacities being especially welcome. We also look forward to seeing Farizon’s large vans taking part in the rally itself, the capabilities of which should see them excel.”
The Farizon SV is built for both utility and usability. Offering up to 13m³ of cargo space, a payload capacity of 1,350kg, and an ultra-low loading height of just 550mm, it’s engineered for demanding fleet operations. Powered by a 170kW (231PS) electric motor and delivering 336Nm of torque, the SV ensures responsive performance even under full load.
Customers can choose from multiple configurations, including L1H1, L2H2 and L3H3 variants, each with either 83kWh or 106kWh battery packs. With a maximum WLTP range of up to 247 miles and rapid charging from 20% to 80% in just 36 minutes, the SV minimises downtime while maximising productivity. It is also the world’s first electric van to feature an independent dual-wishbone front suspension, a nod to Farizon’s commitment to refined driving dynamics.
With pricing starting at £40,000 (excluding VAT)—including the UK Plug-in Van Grant—and vehicles ready for immediate delivery, the Farizon SV offers a compelling solution for fleets looking to electrify without compromise.
Founded in 2016, Farizon is the commercial arm of Geely, China’s largest privately owned automotive manufacturer. The SV marks Farizon’s entry into the UK market, spearheaded by Jameel Motors UK, a London-based distributor specialising in cutting-edge automotive solutions.
As the rally nears, all eyes will be on Farizon—not just for keeping the show on the road, but for showing UK fleets what the future of electric logistics really looks like.
