Falken Motorsports is gearing up for an exciting start to the Nordschleife racing season with its participation in the upcoming Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) opening weekend. The team is set to field two striking teal-and-blue Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) cars in the first two races of the year. Drivers Alessio Picariello, Joel Eriksson, and Martin Ragginger will pilot the Porsches throughout the weekend, with Tim Heinemann and Nico Menzel sharing duties in each of the races. As an official partner of the series, the Japanese tyre manufacturer is aiming for the top spot in these initial races on the legendary Nordschleife circuit.
The 2024 NLS season launches with a thrilling “double-header” weekend, featuring the 64th ADAC ACAS Cup on Saturday (6 April) and the 63rd ADAC Reinoldus Endurance Race on Sunday (7 April). Each race spans four hours, offering Falken Motorsports two opportunities to claim victory. Beyond aiming for wins, the team’s strategy includes gathering valuable data and honing their preparations for the season’s highlight, the ADAC Ravenol 24-hour race scheduled for 1st and 2nd June 2024.

Boasting a formidable driver lineup for the season’s kick-off, Falken Motorsports returns to the “Green Hell” with high expectations. The #3 Falken Porsche will see Alessio Picariello and Martin Ragginger sharing driving responsibilities, while Joel Eriksson will steer the #4 Porsche, partnered by Nico Menzel and Tim Heinemann across the weekend’s races. Falken’s other drivers, Julien Andlauer, Klaus Bachler, and Sven Müller, will contribute throughout the season and at the ADAC Ravenol 24h Race.
Following a successful campaign last year, which included a dominant win in the ROWE 6h ADAC Ruhr Cup race among other notable achievements, Falken Motorsports is optimistic about its prospects for the 2024 season. With the experience gained and the continued use of the 911 GT3 R (992) model, the team and its drivers are confident in their ability to contend for top honors from the outset of the Nürburgring Endurance Series.
