Nestled in the heart of England’s Lake District, this 10.5-mile stretch of water offers a panoramic spectacle framed by majestic mountain peaks and charming villages. Ranked second on the list is the picturesque St Ives Bay in Cornwall, stretching six miles along the coastline to the famed Godrevy lighthouse—a beacon immortalized in Virginia Woolf’s literary masterpiece, “To The Lighthouse”. Following closely is St Michael’s Mount, also in Cornwall, where the Isuzu D-Max’s 4×4 capability ensures access to views of the medieval church and castle perched atop the rocky island of Marazion.
Further afield, Cheddar Gorge in Somerset, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park in Scotland, and the historic York Minster all make their mark on the list of Britain’s top beauty spots. The survey, which canvassed 2,000 Britons, highlights a profound appreciation for the UK’s natural wonders, with 94% planning domestic adventures this year.
