The acquisition includes three key locations—Avonmouth, Exeter, and Highbridge—and solidifies Euro Commercials’ commitment to delivering exceptional service across a broader geographic area.
With over 40 years of experience and state-of-the-art facilities already established in Cardiff, Newport, and Swansea, Euro Commercials is well placed to absorb CWC’s operations and deliver the same premium service that customers have come to expect under the Mercedes-Benz Trucks banner. The newly acquired sites will be rebranded under the Euro Commercials name, but operationally, customers can expect continuity and consistency.
Strengthening the Dealer Network in the South West
Daimler Truck UK has welcomed the acquisition as a pivotal milestone in its commitment to customer support in the South West of England. The integration of CWC’s facilities into Euro Commercials’ already robust network enables the brand to maintain high levels of service quality while also expanding workshop capacity in a strategically important region.
However, the transition does include the closure of the Roche site in Cornwall, which officially ceased operations on 30 May. In response, Daimler Truck UK has taken proactive measures to ensure uninterrupted service for customers in the region.
Uninterrupted Support and Expanded Capacity
To compensate for the Roche closure, Daimler Truck UK has partnered with ETS Truck & Van in Redruth to provide dedicated workshop support across Cornwall. Additionally, the rollout of the Mobile Technician Concept through existing dealerships in both Devon and Cornwall ensures that customers will continue to receive on-the-ground service wherever it’s needed.
This support is further bolstered by the Exeter facility, which will continue to deliver 24/7 Service24h breakdown coverage across both counties, ensuring peace of mind and operational uptime for commercial fleet operators.
Access to technical support, warranty services, Mercedes-Benz Genuine Parts and oils, and emergency assistance remains fully intact as Daimler Truck UK enhances its presence in the region.
