Milton Keynes, May 15, 2024 – Audi is expanding the powertrain options for its popular compact models, the A3 Sportback and Saloon, following their recent upgrades. A new 1.0-litre petrol engine, delivering 116PS, has been introduced for the 30 TFSI, now the entry-level offering starting at £28,920 (OTR).
Since mid-April, the updated fourth-generation A3 Sportback and Saloon have been available in the UK. The new powertrain options lower the starting price for the range to £28,920 (OTR), while orders for the high-performance S3 Sportback and Saloon are now open, starting at £46,925 (OTR).
The 30 TFSI’s 1.0-litre engine can be paired with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed S tronic gearbox and is available in Sport or S line trims, both of which have been enhanced. The existing engine line-up includes a 1.5-litre petrol and a 2.0-litre diesel unit in the 35 TFSI and 35 TDI, each offering 150PS. Additionally, the 35 TFSI can now be ordered with a six-speed manual transmission alongside the seven-speed S tronic automatic.
Later this year, the range will be further expanded with the introduction of a highly-efficient 45 TFSI e plug-in hybrid.
