Leatherhead, June 6th, 2024 – Hyundai Motor UK has revealed the pricing and specifications for the refreshed 2024 Bayon, which now boasts enhanced connectivity, safety features, and interior upgrades.
The new Bayon sports a robust exterior with standard LED headlights across all trims, a full-length Horizon LED daytime running light (DRL) bar, and a redesigned front bumper featuring a new grille mesh design. Standard LED taillights, a reimagined rear bumper, and new 16- and 17-inch alloy wheels complement the updates. The Bayon is now available in four new exterior colors: Vibrant Blue Pearl, Meta Blue Pearl, Lucid Lime Metallic, and Lumen Grey Pearl, bringing the total to nine color options. The Premium trim offers further customization with a two-tone paint option featuring a black roof and door mirrors.
Inside, the Bayon offers a new Vibrant Blue interior color pack available across all trims. This pack includes Vibrant Blue door panel and air vent accents, stitching contrasting with the black dashboard and upholstery, multi-color ambient lighting with 64 color options, a new seat pattern, and a glass sunroof with electric tilt and slide, available on the Ultimate trim.
Under the hood, the Bayon is powered by a 1.0-liter turbocharged T-GDi engine delivering 100PS, paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission (6MT) or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (7DCT), producing 172Nm and 200Nm of torque respectively.
Safety and convenience are paramount, with standard features including driver, front passenger, side, and curtain airbags, Lane Follow Assist (LFA), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Forward Collision Avoidance Assist for cars, pedestrians, and cyclists (FCA), second-generation eCall, Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA), and a rearview camera with parking sensors. Premium and Ultimate trims also feature front parking sensors and Blind Spot Collision Warning (BCW), with the Ultimate trim adding Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist (BCA). An optional driver assistance pack, priced at £800 for Premium and Ultimate trims, adds Smart Cruise Control (Stop & Go), FCA 1.5, and BCA.

Premium Trim Enhancements: Starting at £23,880, the Premium trim adds automatic climate control, 17-inch alloy wheels, auto-dimming rearview mirror, automatic wipers with rain sensor, front parking sensors, rear USB-C port, windscreen auto defog function, privacy glass, heated steering wheel, and front seats. A black exterior styling option, featuring a two-tone black roof and door mirrors, is available for £500.
Ultimate Trim Features: From £25,280, the Ultimate trim includes a BOSE premium sound system, wireless phone charging, BCW, smart key with engine start button, and a glass sunroof with electric tilt and slide.
Color and Interior Options
The new Bayon offers a choice of nine exterior colors, including the no-cost Mangrove Green Pearl, £300 Atlas White, and £565 pearl finishes. Premium models can also opt for a black exterior styling package for £500.
