Offenbach, 13 March 2026 – DUNLOP has unveiled the BLUE RESPONSE TG, a premium summer tyre designed for passenger cars and SUVs, setting a new benchmark for comfort, safety, and performance. This launch marks a milestone for the brand in Europe as the first DUNLOP product developed under Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. (SRI) since its 2025 acquisition of the historic brand’s passenger car tyre rights. The tyre will be offered in 99 sizes ranging from 15 to 21 inches, series 40 to 65, with H, V, and W speed ratings, catering to internal combustion, hybrid, and electric vehicles alike.
BLUE RESPONSE TG combines smooth handling with quiet comfort, making long journeys more relaxing without compromising performance. The tyre’s advanced technology ensures stability and control on wet and dry roads, while braking performance instills driver confidence in any conditions. Its ‘TG’ moniker, short for ‘Touring’, highlights its capability to provide extended comfort and efficiency on long-distance drives.
Wet-weather performance is enhanced by an intelligent three-zone rib design that channels water away from the contact patch, maintaining stability and grip during directional changes. Optimised lateral grooves in the shoulder reduce block deformation under load, ensuring consistent cornering and braking force transfer. Drivers can expect secure, predictable handling even in challenging conditions.
The tyre also features a newly formulated tread compound with longer, more resilient polymer chains, resisting abrasion and extending mileage while maintaining performance. A noise-reducing tread design further enhances ride quality by linking lateral grooves into continuous channels, smoothing airflow, dampening vibrations, and creating a quieter, more composed cabin environment.
Developed collaboratively by DUNLOP engineers in Germany and Japan and leveraging SRI’s global manufacturing expertise, BLUE RESPONSE TG is produced in a state-of-the-art facility in Türkiye. It will be available across Europe from March 2026.
