MINI is excited to announce the latest addition to its lineup, offering enhanced comfort and interior space: the new MINI Cooper 5 Door. With a choice of two petrol engines, three trims, and nine exterior paint colors, including the brand-new Icy Sunshine Blue, this model promises to deliver the hallmark MINI driving experience with added practicality.
Built at the iconic MINI Plant Oxford alongside the 3-door model, the new MINI Cooper 5 Door is priced from £24,050 OTR, with the first customer deliveries set for August 2024.
Following the launch of the three-door model, the five-door Cooper now joins the new MINI family, bringing extended space and cutting-edge in-car technology. It comes with two efficient petrol engines that ensure the exhilarating MINI go-kart feeling.
Dimensions and Performance
Measuring 4,036mm in length, 1,744mm in width, and 1,464mm in height, the MINI Cooper 5 Door retains almost identical dimensions to its predecessor. However, its wheelbase is 72mm longer, offering increased comfort and space for passengers compared to the MINI Cooper 3 Door.

The MINI Cooper 5 Door is available with two petrol engine options – C and S – across three well-specified trims: Classic, Exclusive, and Sport.
- MINI Cooper C: This variant is equipped with a 156 hp engine delivering 230 Nm of torque, achieving 0-62mph in 8.0 seconds with a top speed of 140mph. Priced from £24,050 OTR.

Comfort and Dynamics
The new MINI Cooper 5 Door combines dynamic performance with comfort, thanks to its advanced suspension and damping system. With precise steering feel and powerful brakes, the vehicle ensures a balanced and responsive driving experience. An increased tyre diameter enhances ride comfort and driving dynamics.
Design and Features
The design of the MINI Cooper 5 Door is instantly recognizable, featuring short overhangs, a small bonnet, a long wheelbase, and large wheels. The minimalist front end includes round headlights, an octagonal front grille, and LED headlights with three adjustable light signatures. The rear design is characterized by flush-fitting taillights and a distinctive black handle strip.

Trim Levels and Customization
The MINI Cooper 5 Door offers three trims, each with unique equipment options:
- Classic Trim: Features a reduced overall appearance with five exterior paint finishes, two roof colors, and two wheel options.
- Exclusive Trim: Adds more customization options, including British Racing Green and Icy Sunshine Blue paint, a dark interior headliner, and 17” U Spoke Silver wheels.
- Sport Trim: Includes Sports Transmission with shift paddles, a high-gloss black grille surround, and 18” JCW Lap Spoke 2-Tone Alloy wheels, alongside a sporty interior with red accents.
Interior Innovation
The interior of the MINI Cooper 5 Door focuses on a circular infotainment screen, a characteristic toggle switch, and a steering wheel with a slim head-up display. The innovative use of materials includes recycled polyester in a two-color design, creating a versatile and modern cabin. The spacious front seats and panoramic glass roof ensure a bright, open feel, accommodating three rear passengers comfortably.
Advanced Technology
The MINI Cooper 5 Door features a high-resolution 24cm OLED display that operates vehicle functions via touch or voice control using MINI Operating System 9. The display offers vehicle-related information, navigation, media, phone, and climate controls. An optional head-up display presents essential information in the driver’s line of sight.
Experience Modes and Intelligent Assistant
Seven MINI Experience Modes – Core, Green, Go-Kart, Personal, Vivid, Timeless, and Balance – allow drivers to personalize the cabin environment. The MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant (IPA) can be activated with “Hey MINI,” enabling voice control for various functions.
