A Formula One Driver’s Vision of a Road-Legal Race Car
The 2023 Aston Martin Valkyrie (Estimate: €2,400,000 – €2,800,000) is the ultimate expression of a Formula One car for the road. Developed with Red Bull Racing and legendary designer Adrian Newey, the Valkyrie is powered by a Cosworth-built 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 paired with a hybrid KERS system, producing 1,000hp and revving to 11,100rpm.
Ricciardo, who first encountered the Valkyrie project during his Red Bull F1 career, was immediately captivated by the idea of driving a road car with true race-car DNA. His personal example, chassis number 089, features unique specifications commissioned through Aston Martin’s ‘Q’ division, including Dichroic Dawn paintwork—also known as Badger Blue, a nod to his “Honey Badger” nickname.

Limited to just 100 units, the AMB 001 is a track-only machine featuring a turbocharged 997cc V-twin engine producing 180hp, carbon fibre bodywork, and Aston Martin’s feather-light “lacewing” badge—first designed for the Valkyrie.
