Daimler Truck UK has solidified the future of its premier Wentworth Park facility in South Yorkshire through a strategic sale to Culina Asset Management (CAM).
According to the agreement, CAM will assume control of the 34-acre site near Junction 36 of the M1 and continue operating its extensive workshop.
Wentworth Park serves as the hub for national programmes related to the re-marketing and sales of used Mercedes-Benz and FUSO Canter trucks, in addition to hosting the brand’s demonstrator fleet. Daimler Truck UK will maintain its presence on-site to ensure these functions proceed seamlessly, ensuring uninterrupted service for customers.
Heiko Selzam, Managing Director of Daimler Truck UK, expressed his satisfaction with the arrangement: “We’re delighted to announce the completion of this sale, which will allow Wentworth Park and all the services we offer from this impressive site to continue to flourish.

“By collaborating with CAM, we can maintain all of the important brand functions we carry out here, while passing responsibility for the workshop to a trusted partner with an impeccable track record.”
CAM will provide necessary workshop services to Daimler Truck UK while also utilizing the facilities for its operations. CAM’s extensive fleet includes approximately 5,000 tractor units, some of which are Mercedes-Benz vehicles, and 8,000 trailers.
David Meir, Managing Director of Culina Asset Management, highlighted the significance of this opportunity: “This one-off opportunity to occupy and operate Wentworth Park is seen by CAM as key to the continued strategic development of our offering to both internal and external customers.”
