Dacia is redefining value in the automotive sector by integrating enhanced safety features and technology across its model lineup without increasing prices for consumers. This initiative aligns with the new European Global Safety Regulation 2 (GSR2), mandating advanced safety equipment in all new vehicles to protect road users, including pedestrians and cyclists. Typically, such upgrades would lead to higher prices, particularly for budget-friendly vehicles. Nevertheless, Dacia UK has committed to keeping the costs of its Sandero, Sandero Stepway, and Jogger models unchanged while ensuring compliance with GSR2 standards.
From the base Essential trim upwards, Dacia vehicles now come equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety technologies as standard. These include intelligent speed assist, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, an Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEBS), alerts for driver drowsiness and attention, rear parking sensors, and automatic headlights. A unique ‘My Safety’ button further enhances driver convenience by allowing the quick restoration of preferred ADAS settings with a single click upon each vehicle start.

Dacia has introduced a safety-oriented Rescue QR Code displayed on both the windscreen and rear window of its cars. This feature offers immediate access to essential vehicle information for emergency responders in case of an accident, facilitating quicker and safer intervention.
Dacia has also rolled out other enhancements across its range. The Sandero model now boasts new two-tone Atara Flex wheels and Randia alloy wheels on select variants, alongside the introduction of USB-C connectivity and new color options. The Sandero Stepway, distinguished by its Safari Beige finish and exclusive wheel designs, along with the Jogger, now feature decals of the Dacia Link emblem and coordinates to Romania’s Transfagarasan highway, highlighting their adventure-ready character.
The Jogger HYBRID 140 model has been updated with a 7-inch instrument panel and an E-SAVE function for energy conservation, ideal for navigating challenging terrains more efficiently.
Despite these significant enhancements, Dacia maintains its competitive pricing with the Sandero starting at £13,795, and the Sandero Stepway and Jogger priced from £15,295 and £18,295 respectively, ensuring affordability does not compromise on safety or technology.
