Just a year after production began, Dacia has celebrated a major milestone: the 100,000th Bigster has rolled off the line at the brand’s factory in Mioveni, Romania. This achievement underscores the rapid rise of Dacia’s latest SUV, a model that has quickly captured the hearts of European buyers and carved out a remarkable position in a fiercely competitive market.

The Bigster’s success has been evident from the start. Even before customer deliveries began, Dacia had already received over 13,000 orders, signaling strong anticipation for a larger, family-friendly SUV that combines practicality, adventure-ready capability, and exceptional value. By the second half of 2025, the Bigster had become Europe’s best-selling C-SUV to retail customers, cementing its status as a standout model in the segment.

The UK market has embraced the Bigster with enthusiasm. Nearly 5,000 orders have been recorded to date, with British buyers showing a clear preference for the hybrid 155 powertrain. This choice reflects a growing demand for efficient, easy-to-live-with electrified options that suit both family life and real-world driving needs. Among trims, the Journey variant has emerged as the most popular, offering a generous specification that meets every essential expectation, while Indigo Blue has proven to be the colour of choice.

Dacia’s commercial success has also been matched by critical acclaim. The Bigster has been recognised at multiple industry awards, most recently at the 2026 What Car? Car of the Year Awards, reinforcing its position as an unrivalled value proposition in the C-SUV segment.

Priced from £25,215 on-the-road, the Bigster delivers a robust, well-equipped solution for buyers seeking a larger SUV without compromising on practicality or affordability. With its combination of style, comfort, and versatility, Dacia’s latest offering continues to redefine expectations for family-focused SUVs, proving that exceptional value and market-leading appeal can go hand-in-hand.

As Dacia celebrates the 100,000th Bigster, the message is clear: this is a model that doesn’t just meet demand—it sets the standard for what buyers want in a modern, family-friendly SUV.
