Martorell, April 29, 2024 – CUPRA, the brand celebrated for its unique and energetic approach to automotive design, today introduced the redesigned CUPRA Formentor and CUPRA Leon, setting new standards in the automotive world. The unveiling occurred amidst impressive sales growth, with a record-breaking 56,600 vehicles delivered in the first quarter of 2024 alone.

Exceptional Design and Performance Upgrades
The latest iterations of the CUPRA Formentor and CUPRA Leon are true testaments to the brand’s design innovation. The Formentor, a leader in the Crossover SUV segment, continues its dominance with a new bold exterior featuring the CUPRA logo prominently on the shark-nose front, surrounded by triangular matrix LED lights. The Leon isn’t left behind, boasting enhancements in both its 5-door hatchback and Sportstourer versions, characterized by dynamic aesthetics and performance.

Both models come with a new 12.9-inch infotainment system, an advanced Human Machine Interface (HMI), and a high-fidelity 12-speaker audio system developed in partnership with Sennheiser Mobility, ensuring an unmatched auditory experience.

Advanced Powertrains and Sustainability
CUPRA is pushing the boundaries with its powertrain options. The Formentor and Leon now offer a new TSI petrol engine with 333PS (245kW), featuring torque splitter technology and Akebono brakes. They also introduce an updated eHybrid plug-in hybrid engine, promising over 100km of all-electric range and faster charging capabilities.

Embracing sustainability, the interiors of the new models feature bucket seats covered in 73% recycled microfibre or eco-friendly leather, highlighting CUPRA’s commitment to environmental responsibility.

In an exciting development, CUPRA announced the establishment of ‘CUPRA Design’, a standalone design house aimed at infusing the brand’s bold, unconventional style across various industries.
