CUPRA is accelerating its electrified vision with the introduction of a new 190PS/58kWh entry variant of the all-electric Tavascan, bringing the brand’s performance-driven DNA to a wider audience. Maintaining the SUV coupe’s unmistakable emotional character, the new variant offers around 270 miles of range per charge and can recharge from 10% to 80% in roughly 28 minutes. Designed to deliver a confident and engaging drive, the 190PS motor balances efficiency with CUPRA’s signature progressive spirit, joining the established 286PS/77kWh and 340PS/77kWh VZ models to complete a versatile line-up.
The interior evolves with a larger 10.25” Digital Cockpit, a new steering wheel with physical buttons, and an Android™-powered infotainment system that provides seamless app access and intuitive smartphone integration. Dynamic climate control anticipates occupants’ needs, pre-conditioning the cabin and adjusting airflow based on sun position, while voice command functionality enhances convenience.
Digital access is elevated with the Mobile Device Key, allowing drivers to unlock, start, and share access via smartphone, supported by a Smart Card for temporary use. The Tavascan’s practicality extends further with vehicle-to-load capability, turning the SUV into a portable energy source capable of powering laptops, e-bikes, or sound systems.
Performance remains at the heart of the Tavascan experience, with Launch Control available on the larger 77kWh battery for optimized acceleration and One-Pedal driving delivering smooth, energy-efficient urban handling. Audiophiles benefit from an enhanced Sennheiser sound system with Contrabass technology, providing a deep, immersive audio experience.
The exterior now includes the striking Midnight Black finish, reinforcing the SUV’s sculptural presence and progressive identity. CUPRA’s commitment to radical innovation and design-led performance is evident throughout the Tavascan, reflecting the brand’s broader philosophy of challenging conventions and elevating driving emotion.
With production beginning in the coming weeks and customer deliveries expected late in the third quarter of 2026, the refreshed Tavascan underscores CUPRA’s relentless pursuit of electrified performance and expressive design.
