Citroën has achieved major success in the 2012 What Van? Awards.  The innovative ‘Citroën Vans – Business Class’ programme has been recognised with the What Van? Innovation Award, while for the fifth year in succession, the Citroën Ready to Run special vehicles programme has secured the What Van? One-Stop-Shop Award.  In addition, Citroën UK’s website gained a highly commended mention in the What Van? Website Award category.

What Van? Editor, Paul Barker, commented; “The ‘Citroën Vans – Business Class’ programme won the What Van? Innovation Award thanks to its comprehensive approach to raising LCV customer service standards.  In making this award, the judges commended the ‘Citroën Vans – Business Class’ programme for its extensive range of sales and aftersales services, which are available to Citroën LCV customers through a strategically placed, nationwide network of 90 Citroën Business Centre outlets.”

“Citroën’s Ready to Run programme still leads other manufacturers’ special vehicle programmes.  Taking into consideration the further expansion of the Ready to Run programme during the course of this year, the judges had no hesitation in givingthe What Van? One-Stop-Shop Award to Citroën for the fifth consecutive year,” Paul Barker continued.

Martin Hamill, Citroën’sHead of Commercial Vehicles and Business Sector, remarked; “Citroën is delighted that the success of the ‘Citroën Vans – Business Class’ programme has been recognised in the What Van? 2012 Awards.  ‘Citroën Vans – Business Class’ encapsulates the ongoing form and direction of Citroën UK’s commercial vehicle strategy.  This programme is completely focused on delivering an outstanding level of customer service and the widest range of state-of-the-art LCV products.”

The ‘Citroën Vans – Business Class’ programme is designed to provide Citroën LCV customers with:

  • Environmentally respectful, fuel efficient vehicles, with Citroën’s ‘5 Star’ Euro 5 LCV engine programme
  • Innovative customer offers and a better equipped range of LCVs, including Enterprise versions and other
  • range-expanding models
  • The unique Citroën Trafficmaster Smartnav and Trackstar stolen vehicle tracking telematics package*, which delivers even better fuel efficiency, lower vehicle running costs, lower driver stress levels and improved safety.

The What Van? Award-winning range of Citroën Ready to Run specialist conversions includes:

  • Dual fuel (petrol/lpg) conversions
  • Glass carrying vans
  • High cube, low loading vans
