New development to create 40 jobs and expand Ciceley’s award-winning service network into Scotland
Ciceley Commercials Ltd, one of the UK’s most respected Mercedes-Benz Truck & Bus dealers, has announced plans for a brand-new, purpose-built dealership at Eurocentral, Scotland — marking a significant milestone in the company’s five-decade journey of growth and family-driven service.
The £8 million investment will bring around 40 new jobs to the region and cement Ciceley’s long-term commitment to supporting commercial vehicle operators across the UK. Construction is set to begin shortly, with a temporary workshop scheduled to open in mid-2026 to provide essential servicing and maintenance during the build phase. The main facility will open in autumn 2026.
A new benchmark for commercial vehicle support
The new 4.75-acre site will feature 12 work bays, an Authorised Testing Facility (ATF) lane, and full service, parts, and sales facilities for Mercedes-Benz trucks, alongside service and parts support for Mercedes-Benz buses.
Ciceley Commercials has appointed Clark Contracts as the main contractor for the project. A fellow family-owned business with more than 45 years of experience, Clark Contracts brings valuable Scottish expertise and a reputation for quality construction, sustainability, and training.
Michael Scanlan, Director at Clark Contracts, commented:
“We’re delighted to have been appointed to deliver this project for Ciceley Commercials and look forward to collaborating with our new client and the wider design team as work gets underway on site.”
Both companies share a people-first ethos, investing heavily in developing their teams through award-winning apprenticeship and training programmes — a philosophy that underpins this latest collaboration.
“An exciting new chapter” for Ciceley Commercials
For Ciceley, the Eurocentral project represents more than expansion — it’s the continuation of a story rooted in hard work, family values, and a passion for customer service.
“We’re thrilled to be expanding our support network into Scotland,” said Andy Heys, Dealer Principal at Ciceley Commercials Ltd. “Working closely with Mercedes-Benz, we’ve secured the ideal location and designed a facility that truly reflects the needs of Scottish truck operators.
“This marks an exciting new chapter for Ciceley, but while we grow, we remain true to our roots and proud of our family business culture.”
That story began in the early 1970s, when company founder Brian Morgan turned a small fruit and veg stall in Blackburn into a thriving commercial vehicle business. After maintaining his own delivery truck, Morgan began servicing vehicles for other traders, igniting a lifelong passion that led him to become one of the UK’s first Mercedes-Benz franchise dealers.
Today, at 93, Brian remains involved in the company alongside his son, Chairman Russell Morgan, and grandsons Adam and Sam — continuing a legacy built on integrity, innovation, and customer care.
“That sense of family, care, and dedication is what drives us forward,” Heys added, “and it will continue to shape everything we do in Scotland and beyond.”

Strengthening the Mercedes-Benz Truck & Bus network
Daimler Truck UK has welcomed Ciceley’s investment as a major step forward in strengthening its dealer network and customer support footprint in Scotland.
“We are delighted to be working in close partnership with Ciceley Commercials on this important development,” said Leonhard Niemann, Head of Dealer Network Development at Daimler Truck UK. “Ciceley’s reputation for customer dedication and operational excellence makes them the ideal partner to support our customers in Scotland.”
Sales and Marketing Director, Daimler Truck UK, Stuart Jeggo, added:
“We’ve committed significant effort to ensure this region receives the dedicated and robust support it deserves. Expanding Ciceley Commercials into Scotland presents an excellent opportunity to better serve our customers, combining a top-tier sales offering with the proven aftersales expertise that Ciceley is known for.”
Continuing a legacy of excellence
Ciceley Commercials’ consistent focus on quality has earned the company multiple industry accolades, including Mercedes-Benz Truck Service Dealer of the Year and Truck Sales Team of the Year. The new Eurocentral dealership represents both an expansion of the company’s footprint and a reaffirmation of its values — family, trust, and unwavering commitment to customers.
“As a family-run business, we see this new dealership as more than just a facility,” concluded Heys. “It’s an opportunity to serve new communities while continuing to deliver the quality and care our current customers value. We look forward to welcoming operators, both longstanding and new, to our Eurocentral site.”
