Chevrolet is delighted to be heading to the red carpet for Ronan Keating’s annual star-studded Emeralds & Ivy Ball, taking place for the seventh time on Saturday 1 December 2012, in aid of Cancer Research UK and the Marie Keating Foundation.
As the official automotive sponsor for the event, Chevrolet will join Ronan and his co-host for the night, Christine Bleakley, in putting together an unforgettable night of fundraising at Supernova in Embankment Gardens, London.
“Ronan has made this event one of the highlights of the year. The money raised will continue to fund the charities’ Mobile Cancer Awareness Units, which provide advice on prevention and early detection to those who need it,” said Chevrolet UK Managing Director, Andy Higgins. “It is a pleasure for Chevrolet to contribute towards such a fantastic and worthwhile occasion.”
The target is to raisehundreds of thousands of pounds for vital Cancer Research UK and Marie Keating Foundation Mobile Cancer Awareness Units. The units funded by The Emeralds & Ivy Ball tour the UK bringing information and highly trained nurses into communities, helping to promote prevention and early diagnosis as important ways to beat cancer.
This invite-only event will provide a spectacular night of fantastic entertainment for a crowd featuring a glittering list of celebrity guests such as former England footballer Alan Shearer and a host of Team GB Olympians including six time gold medallist Sir Chris Hoy, two time gold medallist Rebecca Adlington, long jump gold medallist Greg Rutherford and Judo silver medallist Gemma Gibbons.
Chevrolet will ensure that the many celebrity guests make it to the red carpet on time, where they will not only enjoy Ronan’s performance but also an entire evening of high quality entertainment and a live auction of money-can’t-buy prizes.
