- Chevrolet Ute Force has for a second year supported the annual motorcycle ride to collect toys.
JOHANNESBURG – The Chevrolet Ute Force has once again lent their support to the annual Toy Run motorcycle ride that took place at the Benoni Sports ground on Sunday, 29th November 2015.
Each year a diverse group of bikers from across Gauteng meet at designated points in the North, South, East and West of the Province to collect as many toys, toiletries and stationary as possible for underprivileged children.
The beneficiaries of these goodies are children from children’s homes, community crèches, feeding schemes and other child welfare organisations across the province.
Tim Hendon, Chevrolet Brand Manager, said the Chevrolet Utilities have again been an integral part of the organisational team’s set-up. They have been used to transport and deliver goods including fencing, signs, gazebos and banners in preparation for the event. “Ideal for the job, the Chevrolet Utilities are fuel efficient, reliable and carry a surprising amount of cargo,” said Hendon.
The Chevrolet Utilities are dedicated to assist communities and have traveled the depth and breadth of South Africa, touching each province and many lives, young and old. The Ute Force team works in partnership with organisations such as the Toy Run to help make sure their work continues.
