Chery is gearing up to showcase its latest advancements in automotive technology with a dedicated Eco Exhibition at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Auto China), scheduled to run from April 25 to May 4 at the China International Exhibition Centre in Beijing. The Chery Eco Exhibition will open on April 27 and continue throughout the Auto China event.
Tony Liu, Deputy General Manager of Chery South Africa, emphasized the company’s dedication to sustainable development by hosting this special exhibition. Liu will lead a substantial delegation from South Africa to partake in the exhibition, vehicle launches, and an international dealer conference.
Chery’s display will highlight the alignment of its new products with core consumer values, including performance, safety, and luxury. A key feature will be the introduction of the new T2X platform, set to underpin future Tiggo Pro models and equipped with four advanced systems. These include an adaptive magnetic suspension that adjusts damping in milliseconds, a Bosch-tuned dual pinion electric steering system for enhanced control, and a full-scene all-wheel drive capable of managing significant torque levels.
In addition, the platform will debut with Chery’s latest QPower technology, showcasing the next generation of Plug-in Hybrid systems featuring a deep Miller cycle engine and low-temperature exhaust gas recirculation, achieving an impressive 44.5% thermal efficiency and 115 kW power output.
The Beijing event will also serve as a stage for Chery’s Global Dealer Conference, where international dealers will gather to discuss Chery’s commitment to quality and innovation. The conference will explore future automotive trends, including the integration of smart technologies and the development of intelligent mobile environments that enhance driver interaction and support autonomous driving features.
Liu noted that as the automotive industry moves towards electrification and smart technology, Chery has been proactive in these areas and is excited to reveal its latest innovations to global partners and colleagues at Auto China.
