The London Concours, an annual showcase of automotive excellence, is set to honor one of Britain’s most celebrated automotive icons—the Jaguar E-Type. This special feature, presented by Jaguar, will be a highlight of this year’s summer garden party held from June 4th to 6th at the Honourable Artillery Company.
On June 5th, the event will pay special tribute to the E-Type, famously dubbed “the most beautiful car ever made” by Enzo Ferrari. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the evolution of this quintessential British classic through an array of exceptional models. From its debut at the 1961 Geneva Motor Show to its evolution into a V12 powerhouse, the showcase will cover the E-Type’s rich history and its significance in the automotive world.

The display will feature ten significant E-Types sourced from the Jaguar Classic private collection, including the rare E-Type ZP Editions. Highlights include everything from the early Series 1 models known for their flat floors to the later V12 variants and highly sought-after ‘lightweight’ specials.
Andrew Evans, Managing Director of the London Concours, expressed his enthusiasm, “The Jaguar E-Type stands as a pinnacle of design and engineering, and we are excited to delve into its rich legacy at this year’s event.”
Paul Barritt, Managing Director of Jaguar Classic, also commented on the lasting impact of the E-Type. “The E-Type not only remains a beacon of automotive beauty but also serves as a symbol of our ongoing commitment as we transition to an all-electric luxury brand,” he said.
This event promises to be a memorable celebration of the Jaguar E-Type’s enduring appeal and its remarkable journey through automotive history.
