CarGurus, the fastest-growing automotive marketplace in the UKi to shop, buy, and sell used vehicles, today announced that Amanda Symonds, UK Managing Director (MD), has joined the Automotive 30% Club, a voluntary group of MDs and CEOs from automotive manufacturing, retailing, and supplier companies dedicated to improving gender balance across the automotive industry. The organisation aims to fill at least 30% of key leadership positions in the member organisations with women by 2030.
The membership reflects CarGurus’ commitment to fostering a culture that advances diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging both in the workplace and within the automotive industry at large. In her role as UK MD, Symonds leads the CarGurus UK and PistonHeads teams with a focus on driving consumer demand, product innovation, supplier relations, and partnerships to drive profit growth for both brands while also supporting employee culture and engagement.
