Cap hpi, the UK’s leading provider of vehicle provenance checks, has announced a significant expansion of its data capabilities through strategic partnerships. The company has teamed up with SYNETIQ, an integrated vehicle recycling company, to receive comprehensive information on salvage total loss vehicles. Additionally, cap hpi has integrated data from Audatex, a global leader in risk and asset management data, which supports over 2 million vehicle assessments annually and manages 85% of UK insurance claims.

The integration of data from SYNETIQ and Audatex marks a major milestone for cap hpi, allowing users of its HPI Check service to access a more detailed and transparent vehicle history. This enhanced service will provide a clearer picture of a vehicle’s past, including incident histories and total loss information.

SYNETIQ, a significant player in the salvage market and an IAA company, is committed to raising transparency standards across the industry. By partnering with cap hpi, SYNETIQ aims to ensure that vehicle provenance checks provide comprehensive and contextual information for vehicles processed through its facilities. Hugh Leslie, IT Director for SYNETIQ, emphasized the company’s dedication to improving industry standards: “We continue to invest in pushing standards forward across the industry, and our new data agreement with cap hpi will help to keep consumers and the supply chain informed about the vehicles they buy. Everyone in the industry must play their part to increase transparency and raise standards.”

As one of the UK’s leading vehicle salvage, dismantling, and recycling companies, SYNETIQ works with businesses to maximize the environmental and financial value of every vehicle. This new data agreement will further enhance cap hpi’s ability to provide comprehensive vehicle checks.

Cap Hpi Enhances Vehicle Provenance Checks With New Data Partnerships

Cap hpi pioneered the vehicle check industry in 1938, and its HPI Check has since become synonymous with thorough and reliable vehicle history reports. The service is available for cars, motorcycles, vans, HGVs, and motorhomes, providing vital information to protect consumers and businesses from motoring scams and fraud. According to cap hpi’s data, one in three cars has a hidden history or outstanding finance.

Jon Clay, Identification Director at cap hpi, commented on the new partnerships: “The data agreement with SYNETIQ and the additional integration of Audatex data is part of our ongoing journey to enhance the HPI Check. As technology and data advance, we are able to connect parts of the industry to increase transparency across the sector. We can layer information to provide a richer picture of every vehicle. The team at cap hpi continues to work with stakeholders, including the police and industry bodies, to help keep motorists and businesses safe. It’s important to our customers that our data is collected ethically and is reliable, and that’s why we are pleased to team up with SYNETIQ on this important milestone.”

Cap hpi’s ongoing efforts to support vehicle buyers involve thorough investigations into the insurance market to ensure accuracy and reliability. The company’s well-established industry relationships enable it to identify cloned vehicles and other issues, further safeguarding consumers and businesses.

In conclusion, cap hpi’s new data integrations with SYNETIQ and Audatex represent a significant step forward in providing comprehensive and transparent vehicle provenance checks. These partnerships enhance the HPI Check service, offering users a richer and more detailed understanding of a vehicle’s history, thereby promoting safer and more informed vehicle purchases.
