CALLUM, the British design and engineering firm, has breathed new life into the legendary Jaguar C-X75, bringing the car closer than ever to its original vision. This commission follows their transformation of a C-X75 from the James Bond film Spectre and, with a fresh focus on bespoke performance and refinement, CALLUM has meticulously reengineered the supercar for daily use on the road. The result is a beautifully crafted vehicle that balances elegance with the thrill of precision driving.

A Thoroughly Engineered Vision
CALLUM’s latest iteration of the C-X75 is more than a concept car reimagined; it’s a seamless fusion of the customer’s aspirations with the innovation and expertise of the original design team. Led by Ian Callum, who first envisioned the C-X75 in 2010, the project revisits a car that Callum himself refers to as “the one that got away”—a vehicle filled with untapped potential. Now, that potential has been fully realized with a purpose-built design tailored to meet both performance and aesthetic demands.

Powertrain and Performance Precision
Under the hood, the C-X75 is equipped with a supercharged V8 engine paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, engineered in-house to provide an adaptable driving experience. CALLUM has developed custom software that enables the car to switch effortlessly from a comfortable road setting to a more dynamic mode, where the throttle response sharpens, the exhaust roars to life, and gear shifts become more pronounced.

An advanced active aero package elevates the driving experience by enhancing stability at speeds over 60km/h. For further control, an air brake engages during intense braking, while a hydraulic front lift suspension adds practicality for urban environments. Rigorous testing has resulted in a setup that provides predictable handling through sweeping curves and impeccable stability at higher speeds, achieving a road-ready balance that few supercars can match.

Callums Bespoke Jaguar C X75 A Refined Road Ready Supercar Transformation

Exterior Artistry Meets Aerodynamic Functionality
While the C-X75’s silhouette remains true to its original design, CALLUM’s artisans devoted over 1,000 hours to refining the car’s bodywork. The exterior, finished in a custom Willow Green paint, reflects earthy, muted hues with subtle hints of yellow, drawing inspiration from the willow tree’s delicate tones. Precision panel alignment, brushed aluminum window surrounds, and visual carbon fiber accents underscore the car’s blend of artistry and aerodynamics. Subtle details like the etched C-X75 emblem on the tailpipe and enhanced light diffusion from the rear lights reinforce the supercar’s refined personality.

A Cabin Reimagined for Comfort and Command
The interior of the C-X75 marks a complete departure from its stunt car origins. CALLUM has created an inviting, driver-focused cabin that integrates sophistication with intuitive design. Dark green and cream tones split by a bold “waterline” offer a duality that reflects the car’s sporty exterior and refined comfort.

Hand-selected leather textures and CALLUM’s signature “Arrowhead Necklace” feature encircle the cockpit, creating a tactile experience accentuated by three rotary controls angled toward the driver, each with integrated touchscreens for seamless control. The cabin also includes advanced comforts, such as wireless charging, Apple CarPlay, and a bespoke audio system designed for crisp, immersive sound.

Innovation in Materials and Craftsmanship
For this bespoke project, CALLUM collaborated with Stratasys to incorporate cutting-edge additive manufacturing, enabling complex, elegant interior solutions. This process has enhanced both form and function, as seen in the meticulously crafted sill trim, which now integrates cup holders without disrupting the sleek interior lines.

A New Benchmark for Bespoke Automotive Design
The completion of this unique C-X75 underscores CALLUM’s commitment to pushing the limits of bespoke automotive engineering. From the integration of premium comfort features to balancing NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) considerations, CALLUM’s engineering team, led by Adam Donfrancesco, faced formidable challenges. Integrating elements like air conditioning, premium audio, and weather-resistant seals required extensive innovation, ensuring that this one-of-a-kind supercar met the standards of a modern road car.

Looking Forward: CALLUM’s Custom Automotive Legacy
With this C-X75 project, CALLUM continues to expand its reputation as a premier innovator in automotive customization. Their work, from exclusive commissions like the electrified lightweight sportscar to the CALLUM Vanquish 25, showcases an ability to transform automotive visions into tangible reality. The bespoke C-X75 is a testament to CALLUM’s expertise, providing a unique glimpse into the future of personalized supercars and setting a new benchmark in the world of high-performance, road-ready automobiles.

This custom Jaguar C-X75, brought to life by CALLUM’s dedication to design and engineering, offers enthusiasts a rare combination of refinement, performance, and aesthetic elegance, proving that the “one that got away” has finally arrived.
