BYD, the world’s leading manufacturer of new-energy vehicles, has announced UK pricing for its most accessible SUV yet – the new fully electric ATTO 2. Available in two trim levels, Boost and Comfort, prices start from £30,850 on-the-road for the entry-level Boost and £34,950 for the Comfort.
The ATTO 2 marks the first compact BYD to feature the brand’s cutting-edge Cell-to-Body (CTB) technology, which integrates the battery seamlessly into the vehicle’s chassis for improved packaging, structural rigidity, and safety. Both trims utilise BYD’s acclaimed Blade Battery, offered in two capacities: a 51.1kWh pack for the Boost and a 64.8kWh pack for the Comfort, delivering up to 261 miles of WLTP range.
Customer deliveries begin in September for Boost models, with Comfort versions set to follow later in 2025. Each ATTO 2 also comes with five years of complimentary maintenance, adding further value to BYD’s most compact SUV.
Despite its city-friendly footprint, the ATTO 2 offers big-car features and equipment as standard. Highlights include a 12.8-inch rotatable touchscreen, wireless smartphone charging, an eight-speaker premium audio system, ‘Hi BYD’ intelligent voice control, and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability – enabling owners to power external devices such as laptops, camping gear, or even a coffee machine.
The Boost model is equipped with a 130kW motor and 51.1kWh battery, providing a WLTP combined range of 214 miles (rising to 302 miles in urban driving). With an 82kW DC charger, it can replenish from 30–80% in just 30 minutes. The Comfort model steps up with a 150kW motor and the larger 64.8kWh battery, extending range to 261 miles and reducing 30–80% DC charging time to as little as 21 minutes thanks to a faster 155kW charging system.
Both versions share the same compact yet versatile proportions (4,310mm long, 1,830mm wide, 1,675mm tall) with a 2,620mm wheelbase, accommodating five occupants and offering a practical 400-litre boot (expandable to 1,340 litres with seats folded).
With its blend of cutting-edge battery technology, premium standard equipment, and competitive pricing, the ATTO 2 is set to redefine expectations of what a compact electric SUV can deliver in the UK market.
