Farnborough, UK – October 9, 2025 – BYD, the world’s largest manufacturer of new energy vehicles, is set to electrify the UK’s biggest EV event as it returns to Everything Electric at Farnborough International Exhibition Centre on 11–12 October 2025. The brand will showcase its complete range of fully electric models, headlined by the DOLPHIN SURF and the all-new ATTO 2.
Visitors to the BYD stand will have the opportunity to get up close with the DOLPHIN SURF, ATTO 2, SEAL, and SEALION 7, representing the full breadth of BYD’s fast-growing EV portfolio. Each of these models will also be available for test drives throughout the weekend, giving guests the chance to experience BYD’s innovative technology and refined driving dynamics first-hand.
Beyond the cars, BYD will also be adding a dose of fun to the event. Attendees can try their luck at an arcade-style grabbing machine for a chance to win their own cuddly dolphin mascot, or step into the spotlight with BYD’s in-car karaoke system – a playful feature that perfectly captures the brand’s vibrant, forward-thinking spirit.
A Record-Breaking Year for BYD UK
BYD’s presence at Everything Electric comes amid a period of remarkable growth for the brand. September marked BYD UK’s best-ever sales month, with more than 11,000 cars sold. This milestone pushed the company’s year-to-date total past 35,000 vehicles, a fourfold increase from the same period last year.
In just over two years since launching in the UK, BYD has achieved a 2.2% market share and opened its 100th retail location, underscoring its rapid expansion and rising consumer appeal.
Strengthening Infrastructure and Service
Supporting this growth, BYD recently opened a dedicated Battery Service Centre in Milton Keynes – a first for the UK market. Initially focused on servicing electric bus batteries, the facility will play a crucial role in supporting the country’s transition to sustainable public transport.
With more than 2,450 BYD buses now operating nationwide – including 84% of London’s electric bus fleet – the new centre reinforces BYD’s commitment to innovation, reliability, and long-term customer care.
