The BYD ATTO 3 EVO arrives in the UK as a bold evolution of the brand’s first local electric SUV, offering a suite of upgrades that blend performance, practicality, and technology. Building on customer feedback, the ATTO 3 EVO delivers a refreshed exterior, streamlined interior, and a significantly enhanced driving experience, all while maintaining a competitive starting price of £38,990 for the Design trim.
Available in two trims, the Design offers a single motor producing 313PS, rear-wheel drive, and a 0-62mph sprint of 5.5 seconds, while the Excellence boasts dual motors with 449PS, all-wheel drive, and a breathtaking 0-62mph time of 3.9 seconds. Both models utilise BYD’s 74.8kWh Blade Battery, achieving a WLTP range of up to 316 miles. Charging speeds have doubled over the previous model, with a 10% to 80% charge completed in just 25 minutes using the 220kW system.
Technology and convenience are at the heart of the ATTO 3 EVO. The Design includes a new 8.8-inch digital instrument panel and a 15.6-inch touchscreen with integrated Google services, wireless smartphone charging with cooling, four USB-C ports, a heat pump, 360° surround-view camera, and Vehicle-to-Load functionality. The Excellence adds a panoramic sunroof, heated rear seats, and a head-up display, elevating comfort and luxury.
BYD’s innovative Cell-to-Body construction turns the battery into a structural element of the chassis, enhancing safety and handling while allowing the introduction of a five-link rear suspension for a more refined ride. Practicality is improved, with a boot capacity of 490 litres and a new 95-litre ‘frunk’ under the bonnet, offering additional storage for everyday use.
As with all BYD vehicles, the ATTO 3 EVO is backed by a six-year, 93,750-mile warranty and a battery cover of up to eight years or 155,350 miles, giving customers peace of mind as they enjoy the benefits of next-generation electric mobility. Orders open on 2nd April, marking the start of a new era for BYD in the UK.
