London, 18 February 2025 – In an electrifying start to its 2025 FIA Formula One Championship campaign, BWT Alpine Formula One Team revealed its bold new A525 livery in a dual-stage launch across London. The unveiling began with an exclusive event in Shoreditch, where team partners and worldwide media were given a first glimpse of the refreshed design, before the action moved to The O2 Arena for the high-energy F175 Live show.
At the Shoreditch event, industry heavyweights including Renault Group CEO Luca de Meo, Executive Advisor Flavio Briatore, and Team Principal Oliver Oakes set the stage for a day of innovation and ambition. Executive Technical Director David Sanchez provided key insights into the technical evolution of the A525—a refined progression of last year’s A524 that helped secure two podiums and a sixth-place finish in the Constructors’ Championship. “It has been a particularly busy winter for the team,” Sanchez explained. “We’ve pushed the limits on development while keeping an eye on future regulations. Now, we’re maximizing this car’s evolution to deliver even greater performance.”
Later, at a 15,000-capacity O2 Arena packed with fans and F1 enthusiasts celebrating the sport’s 75th anniversary, Team Principal Oliver Oakes, Race Drivers Pierre Gasly and Jack Doohan took to the stage to present not only the new livery but also the team’s season-long campaign, “Rise Higher.” The campaign underscores BWT Alpine’s relentless pursuit of performance and success across a global 24-race, five-continent calendar.

Adding an extra touch of spectacle to the evening, Emmy-nominated composer Brian Tyler—performing under his DJ alias “Are We Dreaming”—dropped his exclusive track “Supernova,” setting the perfect tone for the unveiling. “Days like this always mark significant milestones in a Formula One season,” said Oakes. “We’ve built strong foundations across our Enstone and Viry-Chatillon factories and are ready to push development to new heights.”
The new A525 livery is a visual tour de force, blending the iconic Alpine blue with the dynamic pink of title partner BWT. This vibrant combination not only reflects the team’s storied heritage but also symbolizes its forward-thinking ambitions. The launch also introduced fresh sponsor partnerships, with Eni, MSC, Oakberry, and Arctic Wolf joining the BWT Alpine family.
The driver line-up was fully unveiled for the first time during the day’s events. Alongside Race Drivers Pierre Gasly and Jack Doohan, the team presented Test and Reserve Drivers Paul Aron, Ryo Hirakawa, and Franco Colapinto. In a nod to innovation and style, Pierre and Jack made a grand entrance at the O2 Arena in an Alpine A290—a 100% electric sporty city car that clinched the title of 2025 Car of the Year.
Reflecting on the new season, Pierre Gasly commented, “This time of year is always so exciting because we’re just around the corner from the season start and finally get to see the culmination of our off-season hard work. I’m eager to hit the track and experience the A525 firsthand.” Meanwhile, Jack Doohan expressed his enthusiasm about stepping into a full-time race seat, adding, “I’m excited to get back out on track in Bahrain ahead of my home race in Australia. The new livery and our campaign have set an inspiring tone for what’s to come.”
The A525 is scheduled for its first shakedown in Bahrain on 24 February, followed by an intensive three-day pre-season testing period. With the “Rise Higher” campaign driving their ambitions, BWT Alpine Formula One Team is poised to make a significant impact on what promises to be an exhilarating 2025 season.
As the team gears up to translate their refined design and strategic vision into on-track performance, one thing is clear: BWT Alpine is ready to elevate its game and continue challenging the frontiers of Formula One.
