BMW is set to make a resounding mark at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed with a lineup that promises excitement and innovation. The event will witness the world premiere of the new BMW X3, marking a significant milestone for BMW enthusiasts worldwide. Alongside this debut, another groundbreaking introduction from the BMW Group will captivate audiences, both unveiled at BMW’s Trackside stand on Thursday, July 11th, at 10:30 am (BST).
Adding to the spectacle, the UK will see the debut of the exclusive BMW M4 CS, showcasing its prowess on the Goodwood hill. Also making its mark is the futuristic BMW XM Label, promising cutting-edge performance. Festival-goers can look forward to witnessing the BMW M Hybrid V8 and the innovative BMW R20 concept in action, with the Stable Yard serving as a stage for the BMW Vision Neue Klasse, the luxurious BMW Concept Skytop, and the BMW i5 Flow NOSTOKANA, featuring groundbreaking color-change technology.
At Trackside, BMW’s latest from the M lineup will shine, including the new BMW M135, the refreshed BMW M2 and BMW M3 Touring, and the centerpiece BMW M Hybrid V8 LMDh.

The spotlight at Goodwood will also showcase the debut of the new BMW X3 M50 xDrive, the fourth generation of BMW’s successful Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV). Boasting enhanced sporting appeal and visual impact, this model incorporates a powerful 3.0-liter M TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine, coupled with 48V mild hybrid technology. Delivering an impressive 398 hp, it accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.6 seconds, setting a new standard in its segment.
In the ‘First Glance’ category, the attention-grabbing BMW M4 CS will tackle the renowned 1.16-mile course. Powered by a high-revving 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine with M TwinPower Turbo, this race-focused model boasts 550 hp and features bespoke chassis tuning and lightweight design elements, achieving 0-62 mph in a swift 3.4 seconds.
Fresh from its appearance at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the remarkable BMW M Hybrid V8 will also grace the Goodwood hill. Celebrating BMW’s return to the Hypercar class at Le Mans after 25 years, BMW Group Classic will showcase iconic vehicles like the BMW V12 LMR and other legendary racing cars.
Adding to the thrill, BMW Motorrad will showcase its design prowess with the BMW R20 concept, featuring the legendary air-oil cooled Big Boxer engine, while the Stable Yard will host the BMW Concept Skytop, the BMW i5 Flow NOSTOKANA, and the visionary BMW Vision Neue Klasse.
Luxury and innovation converge at the Stable Yard, where BMW’s latest offerings like the BMW i7 and the BMW i5 Touring redefine automotive luxury with electrification and digital innovation. Alongside these, BMW Motorrad’s urban electric mobility solutions, the BMW CE 02 and BMW CE 04, will also be on display.
