Crewe, 8 November 2024 – Bentley Motors has unveiled an extraordinary one-off Bentayga EWB Mulliner in tribute to Remembrance Day, reinforcing its commitment to honouring those who served in the Armed Forces. This bespoke, poppy-themed design reflects Bentley’s dedication to craftsmanship and commemoration, created collaboratively by the Bentley design team and the company’s BeReady network, a community that supports veterans and acting reservists.
This exceptional Bentayga EWB Mulliner, which marks the third Remembrance Car designed by Bentley, was crafted specifically to honour Remembrance Day 2024. The design itself is an evocative homage, featuring a series of 80 poppies that rise from a map of northern France—a striking symbol commemorating the 80th anniversary of D-Day and acknowledging the sacrifices made in pursuit of peace. Each poppy on the vehicle symbolizes an individual story of courage and sacrifice, creating a moving narrative of history and respect. The design’s details reference the journey taken by British and Allied forces from the south coast of England to the beaches of northern Europe, a poignant reminder of the soldiers’ bravery and a lasting tribute to those who have served.
Crafting a Moving Symbol of Respect
The Bentayga EWB Mulliner’s striking exterior embodies a visual tribute. Vibrant red poppies appear to emerge organically from a map that wraps around the car’s bodywork, creating a three-dimensional effect that conveys both remembrance and movement. The contrast of the red petals against the car’s elegant, refined finish makes the design visible from all perspectives, serving as a powerful reminder of remembrance and the sacrifices made worldwide by servicemen and women. This unique piece of design transforms the Bentayga into a “moving symbol” of respect and memory, connecting past and present and instilling a profound sense of reflection.
Robin Page, Bentley’s Director of Design, expressed the deeper meaning behind the project: “The Remembrance Car is more than just a design; it’s a symbol of our collective memory and the sacrifices made by countless individuals. Every detail of this Bentayga reflects Bentley’s profound respect for history while looking forward to the future.”

A Meaningful Project for Bentley’s BeReady Network
The project has special significance for Bentley’s BeReady network, one of Bentley’s five Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) networks. BeReady provides a supportive environment for Bentley’s veterans and acting reservists, many of whom hold a deep appreciation for the Remembrance Car’s tribute. For members of the BeReady network, this project represents a powerful reminder of shared heritage and is a way to honour those who have paved the way for future generations.
James Lynam, Functional Project Manager Body in White at Bentley and co-chair of the BeReady network, spoke about the car’s importance: “Remembrance is an important time for the BeReady network and Bentley, a time to reflect on the sacrifices of the Armed Forces. This year, with the 80th anniversary of D-Day, we worked together to create a design that honours the bravery of those who served, capturing the perilous journeys of soldiers in an instantly recognisable, powerful way.”
Marking Remembrance Across the UK
The Remembrance Car will embark on a journey across the UK, making appearances at key events to symbolize respect and reflection. Starting within Bentley’s local community in Crewe, the car will take part in the Race of Remembrance in Anglesey, a community event organised by Mission Motorsport. During the race, the Bentayga will serve as the course car, playing a central role in the proceedings. This moving tribute will return to Bentley’s Crewe headquarters on 11 November, where Bentley colleagues will join together to reflect and pay their respects. The car’s tour will conclude on 13 November, as it is displayed at the His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire Awards, underscoring Bentley’s ongoing commitment to supporting and commemorating the Armed Forces.
This unique Bentayga EWB Mulliner stands as a testament to Bentley’s dedication to remembrance, uniting luxury craftsmanship with a powerful message of respect and heritage. Through this vehicle, Bentley not only honours the past but continues its legacy of supporting those who serve and preserve history, creating a lasting tribute that will resonate for generations.
