Crewe, 8 April 2025 — Bentley Motors has expanded its line-up with the launch of a second hybrid powertrain for its renowned Continental GT, Continental GT Convertible, and Flying Spur models. The new High Performance Hybrid, offering an impressive 680 PS and 930 Nm of torque, takes its place alongside the Ultra Performance Hybrid that debuted in 2024, further solidifying Bentley’s commitment to the future of electrified performance. This new addition enhances the driving experience of Bentley’s two-door and four-door sedans, ensuring that all variants are powered by electrified V8 engines.

A New Era in Hybrid Performance

At the heart of the new Continental GT, GT Convertible, and Flying Spur lies Bentley’s advanced High Performance Hybrid powertrain. The pairing of a potent 4.0-litre V8 engine and an electric motor delivers a combined output of 680 PS and 930 Nm of torque, resulting in a performance that sets a new benchmark in its class. Capable of reaching 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds (3.7 seconds for the Continental GT Convertible), these new models outperform the previous generation GT Speed in both power and performance. What’s more, the High Performance Hybrid offers up to 50 miles (80 km) of pure electric driving, making it as efficient as it is exhilarating.

While the Ultra Performance Hybrid remains the pinnacle of Bentley’s powertrain offerings, the High Performance Hybrid is a remarkable leap forward, offering a perfect balance of electric efficiency and high-octane performance. When paired with Bentley’s Active Chassis technology, which includes Dynamic Ride, Rear Wheel Steering, and eLSD, drivers are treated to a ride that is as agile as it is refined, whether on smooth highways or winding country roads.

The Continental GT and GT Convertible: Iconic Design Meets Cutting-Edge Hybrid Technology

The new fourth-generation Continental GT and Continental GT Convertible models continue Bentley’s tradition of blending iconic design with cutting-edge performance. The signature matrix grille, now in gloss black with a chrome surround, gives the front end a bold, modern presence, while the bespoke ‘Harmony’ headlamps—designed to mimic cut crystal—add a touch of elegance. The addition of red lens taillights with bespoke animations further elevates the car’s visual appeal.

Inside, the cabins of the Continental GT and GT Convertible are handcrafted in Crewe, England, with an emphasis on luxury and precision. Customers can choose from a variety of materials, including straight fluted seats and bright or dark chrome interior specifications. The new models are not just about power—they are also about luxury and comfort, with wellness-focused features like a choice of Comfort, Bentley, and Sport modes that tailor the driving experience to the mood of the moment.

For those who seek even greater comfort and relaxation, the new Continental GT Azure and GT Convertible Azure variants place a premium on wellness. These models come equipped with a host of features designed to reduce stress and promote well-being, such as Wellness seating, 3D Harmony diamond quilting, and a panoramic sunroof. For the GT Convertible Azure, the neck warmer ensures comfort even when the roof is down on cooler days, while the Azure-specific 22” wheels add an extra layer of elegance.

Flying Spur: A Hybrid Sedan for Effortless Performance

The Flying Spur continues to embody the perfect blend of performance and luxury. Now available with the High Performance Hybrid powertrain, this elegant four-door sedan is designed to take you from 0-60 mph in just 3.8 seconds (3.9 seconds for the hybrid), combining dynamic performance with unparalleled comfort for all five passengers. The new Flying Spur’s sophisticated design, featuring a gloss black matrix grille and chrome tailpipe finishers, is matched by an interior of exquisite craftsmanship, including straight fluted seats and Bentley-embroidered headrests.

For those who prioritize both comfort and performance, the Flying Spur Azure is a natural choice. Its Wellness seating system, which includes massage functions and a host of mood-enhancing features, ensures that every journey—whether short or long—feels effortless. The Azure’s bespoke interior details, such as open-pore crown-cut walnut veneer and contrast stitching, create a serene, luxurious environment for both driver and passengers.

Bentley: A Bespoke Experience Like No Other

With the addition of the new High Performance Hybrid powertrain, Bentley’s Continental GT, GT Convertible, and Flying Spur range now offers more choice than ever before. Customers can select from a range of specifications, from the performance-focused models to the luxurious Azure variants, which prioritize comfort and wellness.

As with all Bentley models, the personalization options are nearly endless. From bespoke paint finishes and luxurious veneers to custom Mulliner options, each Bentley can be tailored to reflect the unique tastes and desires of its owner.

The new Continental GT is now available for order, with prices starting at £202,400 (RRP) in the UK, €210,924 (Pre-Tax) in Europe, and $265,900 MSRP in the USA.

Bentley’s latest models are a testament to the brand’s relentless pursuit of performance, luxury, and innovation. Whether it’s the exhilarating acceleration of the Continental GT, the comfort-focused refinement of the Azure models, or the groundbreaking hybrid technology, these new offerings from Bentley redefine what a daily supercar can be. Each model combines potent power with impeccable craftsmanship, making them a true reflection of Bentley’s commitment to excellence in every aspect of design, engineering, and driving experience.
