Bentley Motors, in partnership with the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF), has unveiled the Bentley Advancing Life Chances National Fund, a landmark initiative supporting charities that work with vulnerable and underrepresented communities across the UK. The programme marks a strategic evolution from Bentley’s previous Advancing Life Chances Small Grants Programme, which distributed over 600 grants through ten funding rounds.
The new fund focuses on creating deeper, more sustainable community impact, offering grants of between £2,000 and £4,000 to eligible charities located near Bentley retailers across the UK, Jersey, and the Isle of Man, including Bentley’s Crewe headquarters. In recognition of the growing pressures small charities face in securing essential funding, grants can now be applied not only to project delivery but also to vital core operating costs, helping organisations strengthen their resilience and capacity.
Sally Hepton, Director of Government Relations and Sustainable Luxury at Bentley Motors, said the fund reflects a responsive approach to charity needs and reinforces Bentley’s long-term dedication to social responsibility. She emphasized that supporting grassroots organisations empowers individuals, enhances local resilience, and contributes to building a fairer future for communities across the UK.
The fund aligns with Bentley’s Advancing Life Chances strategy, focusing on four pillars. Access initiatives aim to break down barriers to education, services, and employment, while Empowerment projects help individuals develop confidence and skills to thrive. Quality of Life programmes support mental and physical wellbeing, and initiatives under Better Future work to enhance community spaces, safeguard the environment, and foster local pride.
By providing targeted support to charities that are driving meaningful social change, Bentley and CAF are helping to create stronger, more resilient communities where opportunities are accessible and lives are enriched. This fund demonstrates a commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of people who need it most, combining strategic philanthropy with a focus on long-term social benefit.
