Today 22 June 2014 Google have added yet another Google Doodle to their World Cup 2014 Collection of Doodles. This time the Doodle is about Nigeria vs Bosnia and Herzegovina showing a goalkeeper blocking shots at the make shift goal box.
The Doodles have stayed pretty much simple in design but have been lately showing some trademarks of the game in their design making them more current to the teams that are playing. Nigeria’s Goalkeeper Enyeama is regarded as one of the best Goalkeepers at the World Cup 2014 Fifa soccer championship and the doodler responsible for the Nigeria vs Bosnia and Herzegovina google have likely incorporated this fact into the design of today’s Google Doodle.
Ein Salto zum Rekord bei Deutschland gegen Ghana
Another good example of Google incorporating actual game signature moves into their Google Doodles are the “Ein Salto zum Rekord bei Deutschland gegen Ghana” Google Doodle that were on display today in Google Germany.
The doodle show the number 1 German player scoring a goal and making a summersault, The number 1 likely represents German Player Miroslav Klose who scored his 15th World Cup goal in the game between Germany and Ghana.
Belgium vs Russia
Another game being played today is the game between Belgium vs Russia. The game is set to start at 6Pm tonight at the Estádio Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazill South America. The two teams are very closely matched and it is going to be difficult to predict the outcome between Belgium vs Russia.
If I were to guess a score I would say that the Belgium vs Russia is going to end up in a 2-2 draw.
It would be great if Google will bring a World Cup 2014 Google Doodle Game to their Doodles!
