BEDEO has officially entered the motorhome market through a partnership with the TRIGANO Group, a renowned name in the camping and caravaning industry, boasting a portfolio of 27 motorhome brands. This collaboration marks a new chapter for both companies, as they aim to bring eco-conscious travel solutions to a growing market of sustainability-minded campers. At the heart of this partnership is the introduction of the Chausson X550 and X650 ElectriX models, as well as the Challenger X150 and X250 ElectriX, all of which showcase BEDEO’s cutting-edge Range Extender (RE) Drive Electric system.

Revolutionising Motorhomes with BEDEO’s Electrification Technology
The ElectriX motorhomes are equipped with BEDEO’s RE technology, which integrates a 37 kWh battery and 115 kW electric motors, providing at least 100 km of pure electric driving. This all-electric capability enables eco-friendly, off-grid travel, allowing campers to experience nature without contributing to tailpipe emissions or noise pollution. For longer journeys, the ElectriX models seamlessly switch to thermal mode, where a 140 hp internal combustion engine extends the range to over 900 km, making them perfect for both short adventures and extensive road trips. For added performance, an optional 180 hp engine is available, along with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Osman Boyner, Founder and CEO of BEDEO, emphasized the significance of this partnership, stating, “Our collaboration with TRIGANO Group marks a significant step in transforming the campervan market towards a more sustainable future. BEDEO’s electrification technology empowers adventurers to explore nature responsibly, offering the perfect balance between eco-conscious travel and long-range performance. We are proud to bring this innovation to life, providing a new level of flexibility and freedom for modern campers.”

Chausson and Challenger ElectriX: The Future of Sustainable Travel
The first motorhomes featuring BEDEO’s RE system—Chausson X550 and X650 ElectriX, as well as Challenger X150 and X250 ElectriX—are currently on display at the Villepinte Leisure Vehicle Show in Paris (until 29 September). These models reflect TRIGANO Group’s commitment to advancing eco-friendly travel without compromising comfort and functionality.

Inside the Chausson X550 and X650 ElectriX models, the design focuses on spacious, modular living spaces ideal for family getaways or group travel. The motorhomes feature a large living room capable of accommodating up to four adults, alongside a fully equipped kitchen and compact bathroom. The interiors are bright, welcoming, and designed for year-round comfort with efficient heating systems. The inclusion of a panoramic roof further enhances the open, nature-focused experience that modern campers seek.

Each ElectriX model comes standard with a seven-year or 100,000 km battery guarantee, ensuring peace of mind for buyers. BEDEO’s technology is fully homologated and tested, reflecting the high standards that have made TRIGANO Group a trusted leader in the industry.

Bedeo And Trigano Group Unveil Electri Motorhomes Bringing Electric Innovation To Camping

Leading the Charge in Electric Motorhomes
The entrance of BEDEO into the motorhome market with TRIGANO Group highlights a broader shift within the leisure vehicle industry towards electrification and sustainability. From 2019 to 2024, BEDEO has been at the forefront of converting large commercial vehicles from brands like Citroën, Fiat, Peugeot, and Vauxhall/Opel to electric, and this latest venture into motorhomes underscores the versatility of their RE technology.

With the demand for greener travel options on the rise, BEDEO and TRIGANO’s ElectriX range represents the future of sustainable camping. Whether seeking quiet, emission-free exploration or long-distance road trips, the ElectriX motorhomes offer a blend of flexibility, performance, and environmental responsibility.

For those interested in experiencing the next generation of motorhomes, the Chausson X550 and X650 ElectriX models, along with the Challenger X150 and X250 ElectriX, can be viewed at the Villepinte Leisure Vehicle Show at Parc des Expos Paris-Nord Villepinte until 29 September.

The collaboration between BEDEO and TRIGANO Group marks a pivotal moment in the motorhome industry, bringing electrification to a new frontier. The ElectriX motorhomes reflect an ideal balance of sustainability, innovation, and adventure, offering campers the freedom to explore while minimising their environmental footprint. As BEDEO continues to expand its electrification technology, the future of motorhomes looks increasingly electric and eco-conscious.
